Benjamin Steffan (born 12 January 1996) is a German ice dancer. With his skating partner, Jennifer Janse van Rensburg, he is the 2020 Santa Claus Cup champion, the 2021 Egna Dance Trophy silver medalist, the 2022 Bavarian Open champion, and three time German national champions (2022-2024).

The 2021–22 figure skating season began on July 1, 2021 and ended on June 30, 2022. The 2022 NHK Trophy was the fifth event of the 2022-23 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating: a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at the Makomanai Ice Arena in Sapporo, Japan, from November 18-20. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters earned points toward qualifying for the 2022-23 Grand Prix Final.
