Benny Lee (born December 5, 1965) is an American former badminton player and coach. He competed in two events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1] Lee is a 9-time national champion in men's doubles. He won the national championships four times with Chris Jogis, four times with Thomas Reidy and won his ninth title with Andy Chong in 1998.
In 2012, Lee founded the Synergy Badminton Academy in California. [2] [3]
Partnered with Chris Jogis, the two went on to win the men's doubles title at the 1989 Pan Am Badminton Championships in Mexico. [4] In 1991, he partnered with Thomas Reidy and reached his second men's doubles final at the Pan American championships before losing to Mike Bitten and Bryan Blanshard of Canada. [5]
Lee is the father of Allison Lee, who is also a badminton player and a runner-up at the 2023 BWF World Junior Championships. [6] [7]

Phillip Hung Chew is an American badminton player. He won two gold medals in men's and mixed doubles at the 2015 Pan American Games. Osleni Guerrero Velazco is a Cuban badminton player. He is the first Cuban badminton player to win a medal in the Pan American Games. Guerrero also competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Kim Astrup Sørensen is a Danish badminton player. He was the men's doubles gold medalists at the 2018 European Championships and the 2023 European Games with his partner Anders Skaarup Rasmussen. He also won the bronze medal at the World Championships in 2021 and later a silver medal in 2023. Astrup joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China, where he and his teammates beating Indonesia 3–2 in the final. Together with Rasmussen, he reached a career high of World number 5 in September 2018.
Ygor Coelho de Oliveira is a Brazilian badminton player. He won the Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships six times in the boys' singles and four times in the mixed doubles event with Lohaynny Vicente. Oliveira placed 27th in the world junior ranking and went on to compete at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. He won his first senior international title at the 2014 Puerto Rico International in the men's singles event. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and became the first Brazil's male Olympic badminton player. He clinched three gold medals at the 2018 South American Games in the men's singles, doubles, and team event. Coelho won a gold medal in the men's singles at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games.
Wang Chi-lin is a Taiwanese badminton player who specializes in doubles. He is the 2020 and 2024 Olympics men's doubles champion, becoming the first unseeded men's doubles pair ever in olympic history to win consecutive gold medals. He also won the men's doubles bronze medals at the 2018 World Championships, 2022 Asian Games, and at the 2023 Asian Championships. He reached a career high as World number 2 in September 2022 with his current partner Lee Yang. Wang also competed in the mixed doubles, winning the gold medal at the 2017 Summer Universiade with Lee Chia-hsin, with their career high were number 10 in the BWF World Rankings in June 2018.

Job Castillo Galindo is a Mexican badminton player. He won the men's doubles title at the 2022 Pan Am Championships partnering Luis Montoya. He also claimed two bronze medals at the Pan American Games, in 2015 with Lino Muñoz, and in 2023 with Montoya.
Jason Anthony Ho-Shue is a Canadian badminton player. He won the gold medal in the men's doubles at the 2019 Pan American Games, and at the Pan Am Championships in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. He also won the men's singles title at the Pan Am Championships in 2016.

They won their first title together at the Mexican International Challenge in 2021. The duo won the silver medal in the mixed doubles at the 2023 Pan American Games.
