Berlin lebt 2 ("Berlin Is Alive 2") is the first collaborative studio album by German rappers Capital Bra and Samra. It was released on 4 October 2019 through Bra Music and Urban. [1] The album serves as a continuation of Capital Bra's fourth studio album Berlin lebt (2018).
The album was preceded by five singles,four of which debuted at number one in Germany. The fifth single "110" became Capital Bra's eighteenth and Samra's tenth number-one single in Germany. [2] Additionally,the rappers reached number one in Germany for the sixth time as a duo. The sixth and final single "Berlin lebt wie nie zuvor" was released alongside the album.
On 8 May 2019,only four weeks after the release of his sixth studio album CB6 ,Capital Bra announced the collaborative project with Samra. [3] [4] The official release date was announced on 20 June 2019. [5] Subsequently,the release of Samra's debut studio album Smoking Kill was pushed back to 2020. He renamed his album to "Jibrail und Iblis". [6] The first single "Tilidin" was released on 21 June 2019 and reached number one in all of the German-speaking countries. [7] Over the course of the next three months,the track was followed up by the release of the singles "Zombie","Nummer 1","Huracan" and "110". During an Instagram livestream on 10 July 2019,Capital Bra announced that works on the album have been finished. [8] The cover art was revealed in August 2019. [9] On 13 August 2019,two months before release,it was reported that all of the box sets accompanying the release of the album were sold out. [10]
Both rappers embarked on the Berlin lebt 2 tour starting on 28 April 2020. [11]

"Cheri, Cheri Lady" is a song by German duo Modern Talking from their second studio album, Let's Talk About Love (1985). It was released as the album's only single on 2 September 1985 and reached number one on the German Singles Chart, becoming the duo's third consecutive number-one single in Germany, following "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" and "You Can Win If You Want". The single spent four weeks at the top and a total of 24 weeks on the German chart, and eventually went gold, selling over 250,000 units there. "Cheri, Cheri Lady" has also been certified silver in France, denoting sales in excess of 250,000 units.

Anthrazit is the fifth studio album by Austrian musician RAF Camora. Released on 25 August 2017, by RAF Camoras own label Indipendenza, the album debuted at number one on the German, Swiss and Austrian album charts. Anthrazit is certified Gold by IFPI Austria and Platinum by Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI). The album produced six singles, including "Kontrollieren", "In meiner Wolke", "Alles probiert", "Bye, Bye", "Andere Liga" and "Primo". In February 2017, Capital Bra released his second studio album Makarov Komplex which peaked within the top five in Austria, Germany and in Switzerland, spawning four singles of which "Es geht ums Geschäft" entered the charts at number 76 in Germany. The limited box set of Makarov Komplex included his first EP Oh Kolleg. In May of the same year, he distributed his second EP Ibrakadabra to minor commercial success in Switzerland.
Palmen aus Plastik 2 is the second collaborative studio album by German rapper Bonez MC and Austrian rapper RAF Camora, released on 5 October 2018 through Vertigo Berlin and Capitol. It was also made available as a limited edition box set on the same date. Prior to the album, the rappers collaborated on Palmen aus Plastik (2016). Palmen aus Plastik 2 debuted at number one on the German, Swiss and Austrian album charts. The album was certified Gold by Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI) and IFPI Austria. As of November 2018, the record was certified for 107,500 album-equivalent units in German-speaking Europe.
Allein ("alone") is the fifth studio album by German rapper Capital Bra, released on 2 November 2018, through EGJ and distributed by Sony Music, digitally. Upon its release, the album debuted within the top five in German-speaking Europe. Four tracks of the album were released as singles, with "Roli Glitzer Glitzer" reaching No. 1 in Germany. The single "Fightclub"—a collaboration with AK Ausserkontrolle and Samra—reached No. 3 in Germany, making it Capital Bra's first single in six months to not debut atop the German single charts.
CB6 is the sixth studio album by German rapper Capital Bra, released on 12 April 2019 through Bra Music and Urban. The album reached number one in Austria and Germany, and earned a total of 1.4 billion streams in Germany, resulting in a new all-time record.
"Hobby Hobby" is a song recorded by German rapper Mero, released on 18 January 2019, through Groove Attack TraX. Written by the rapper himself and produced by Josh Petruccio, the track acts the second single for his debut studio album Ya Hero Ya Mero (2019). An accompanying music video for the song was directed by Plug, Jakub and Tatjana of the 100Blackdolphins and uploaded by onto Mero's YouTube channel simultaneously with the single's release. It was released on 29 April 2020 as the lead single off Capital Bra's upcoming seventh studio album CB7 through Bra Musik. The song was written by Capital Bra, Loredana and Zuna, while production was handled by Beatzarre, Djorkaeff and BuJaa.
