Besart Kallaku (born 20 November 1985), commonly known as Bes Kallaku is an Albanian actor, comedian, singer and retired footballer who played as a forward.
Currently, he is hosting BE Cafe TV show at Klan TV. He is famously known for acting at Top Channel's famous "Portokalli", a late night comedy show and his charitable [1] endeavours. In addition to the humorous characters he plays, Besart has debuted in two Albanian films, "The Time of Comet" (Në kohën e Kometës) and "Alive" (Gjallë). In 2017, Besart married Xhensila Myrtezaj and moves [2] from Top Channel to Klan TV. Besart, lately entered the music industry by publishing his first single "Katunari Gangsta" in 2011.
Kallaku was born in Tirana, Albania from Albanian parents, he converted to Roman Catholicism, [3] prior to marrying his fiancé Xhensila Myrtezaj in a Church ceremony in 2017. [4] In December 2022, it was announced that the couple are facing disagreements on their relationship and are in a subject for a possible divorce. Portokalli (transl. Orange) is an Albanian weekly night sketch comedy and variety show that airs on Top Channel. It began airing on 31 December 2003 and it includes stand-up comedy and live music which makes it similar to the American late-night live television show Saturday Night Live. The show is known to make fun of everyday problems through humor and satire. It also makes fun of political figures such as Sali Berisha, Edi Rama, Hashim Thaçi, Ramush Haradinaj, Lulzim Basha, Ilir Meta, Jozefina Topalli and Alfred Moisiu, including other world leaders like Emmanuel Macron, Vladimir Putin, Aleksandar Vučić, Donald Trump, Kim Jong Un, Angela Merkel and their relations with Albania. Portokalli reaches an audience of many ages and it is filmed in Kashar.
