Best in Show is the seventh studio album from the southern rock band Jackyl. [1] [2]
The album was released on July 31, 2012, simultaneously with Up to No Good, the second album by Nigel Dupree Band, fronted by the vocalist Nigel Thomas Dupree, the son of Jackyl's lead singer, Jesse James Dupree. In honor of Father's Day, the first singles from Best in Show and Up to No Good, titled "Screwdriver" and "Tumbleweed", respectively, were issued to radio on June 17, 2012, with an add date at radio of June 26, 2012. The album includes cover versions of "It's Tricky" by Run-D.M.C. and "Cover of the Rolling Stone" by Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show, the latter sampling the "stomp-stomp-clap" of Queen's "We Will Rock You".
Following its release, Best In Show was met with positive responses. William Clark of Guitar International gave the album a positive review, saying, "Best In Show proves even though the members of Jackyl are 20 years older, nothing has changed when it comes to their crazy party attitude." [4]
In the US, the album debuted at No. 84 on Billboard 200, [5] No. 30 on Top Rock Albums, [6] and No. 7 on Hard Rock Albums, [7] selling around 5,000 in the first week. The album sold 26,000 copies in the United States by July 2016. [8]

Hydrograd is the sixth and most recent studio album by American rock band Stone Sour. Recorded at Sphere Studios in Los Angeles, it is the follow-up to the band's 2012–2013 double concept album, House of Gold & Bones Part 1 and 2. It was released worldwide on June 30, 2017 via Roadrunner Records. Hydrograd also had a special album premiere with commentary on each song from frontman Corey Taylor on June 29, 2017 on Octane. Two singles were released in promotion of the album ahead of its release: "Fabuless" and "Song #3". A third single, "Rose Red Violent Blue ", was released on September 13, 2017. On October 24, 2017, Hydrograd won the award for Hard Rock Album of the Year at the Loudwire Music Awards. On April 4, 2018, the album's fourth single, “St. Marie” was released. Hydrograd is the first album to be produced without founding guitarist Jim Root, as he departed Stone Sour in 2014 to focus more on his and Corey's other band Slipknot. On August 23, 2018, the album's fifth single, "Knievel Has Landed" has been released. Hydrograd is the last album the band released before they entered an indefinite hiatus in 2020.
