Crises is the eighth studio album by English musician and songwriter Mike Oldfield, released on 27 May 1983 on Virgin Records. Oldfield started recording the album towards the end of his 1982 tour supporting his previous record, Five Miles Out. It marked a continuation of Oldfield's experimentation with more accessible music which began in the late 1970s; side one contains the 20-minute "Crises" and side two contains a collection of shorter songs which feature vocalists Maggie Reilly, Jon Anderson, and Roger Chapman. Oldfield produced Crises with drummer Simon Phillips, who also plays on the album.

Groove Coverage German dance band

Groove Coverage is a German dance band which consists of Axel Konrad, DJ Novus, Melanie Munch, better known as Mell, and Verena Rehm. Producers of the band are Ole Wierk and Axel Konrad. The project was founded in the summer of 2001 by DJ Novus, in co-operation with Suprime Music (Konrad). With eleven singles in the German Top 50 and over 13 million records sold worldwide, Groove Coverage is one of the most successful German dance artists.

Moonlight Shadow

"Moonlight Shadow" is a song written and performed by English multi-instrumentalist Mike Oldfield, released as a single in May 1983 by Virgin Records, and included in the album Crises of the same year. The vocals were performed by Scottish vocalist Maggie Reilly, who had collaborated with Mike Oldfield since 1980. It is Oldfield's most successful single, reaching number one on a number of charts around Europe.

Poison (Bell Biv DeVoe song)

"Poison" is the debut single by the American vocal group Bell Biv DeVoe. This song, in the style of new jack swing, a late-1980s/early-1990s hybrid of R&B, hip hop and swing, was the group's most successful. The lyrics, written by Elliot Straite, describe the dangers of falling in love with a deceptive woman. The song's swing sample is similar to "Taking U Out" by Rockwell Noel & The Poet. "Poison" was the first single taken from Bell Biv DeVoe's debut album of the same name.

Falling Away from Me

"Falling Away from Me" is a song by American band Korn. It was released as the first single from their fourth album Issues, debuting in an episode of Comedy Central's animated series South Park, entitled "Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery". The song went on to become one of Korn's most popular singles, with an anti-child abuse themed video topping MTV's Total Request Live for ten days.

Covergirl is the first album of the German trance group Groove Coverage, released in 2002. It features the 2 singles "Moonlight Shadow" and "God is a Girl" in both radio edit and ballad form. The Radio Edit of "God is a Girl" is a hidden track at the end of the album. The album features a few ballads and dance tracks.

7 Years and 50 Days is the second album of the German Euro-trance band Groove Coverage, released in 2004. Several versions of the album were released, most significant being the 'second edition', which replaced "Fragezeichen" with "She" and included a bonus track as well as a thong looking like that worn by the girl on the cover of the band's single God Is A Girl. Other versions differ from country to country.

Poison (Alice Cooper song)

"Poison" is a song by American hard rock musician Alice Cooper. Written by Cooper, producer Desmond Child and guitarist John McCurry, the song was released worldwide as a single in late-1989 from Cooper's eighteenth album, Trash. It became one of Cooper's biggest hit singles in the United States, peaking at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. It performed even better in the UK by peaking at number 2 in the UK Singles Chart. "Poison" remains one of Alice Cooper's best known songs. It is ranked by Billboard as the "91st top song of 1989", while Ultimate Classic Rock ranked it as the "7th best Alice Cooper song", commenting "Poison sounds like a typical ’80s pop-metal number at times, but Cooper’s intensity brings it to a whole other level." The song's main riff was written by guitarist John McCurry, who two years earlier had used it for the John Waite track "Encircled".

"7 Years and 50 Days" is the third single and title track from the album 7 Years and 50 Days by German trance group Groove Coverage. A video was released for this song in which a girl catches her boyfriend cheating on her which results into gluttony and ends with her eating the whole furniture of her flat while she is watching Melanie Munch on TV performing the song.

Matt Quinn, known by his stage name Optical, is a British musician, producer and DJ. He is co-founder and owner of Virus Recordings, a widely regarded Drum and Bass record label. He is best known as one half of drum and bass duo Ed Rush and Optical, whose debut album Wormhole has been described as one of the most significant LPs of the drum and bass genre. He is also the brother of Jamie Quinn also known as Matrix.

Losing Ground (song)

"Losing Ground" is a song by Australian electronic music group, Groove Terminator. It was released in 1997 on 12" vinyl and in May 1998 on CD single. A remixed version is included on the band's debut studio album Road Kill. The song peaked at number 64 on the Australian ARIA Charts.
