Tabor Academy is an independent preparatory school located in Marion, Massachusetts, United States. Tabor is known for its marine science courses. Tabor's location on Sippican Harbor, Buzzards Bay, has earned it the name of "The School by the Sea" and the school continues to operate a 115-foot sail training vessel, the SSV Tabor Boy as a hallmark program of the school. Tabor participates in the Independent School League (ISL) and is a member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council .

Elizabeth Rambo "Beth" Anders is a former field hockey sweeper from the United States, who was a member of the national team that won the bronze medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. She attended Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School. After the 1984 Summer Olympics she became the head coach of the USA National Women's Team. She also coached field hockey at Old Dominion University for 30 seasons, retiring in 2012. At Old Dominion she coached more games (704) and achieved more wins (561) and NCAA titles (9) than anyone in Division I history, as well as becoming the first Division I coach to reach 500 victories in field hockey.
Jenni N. Meno is an American former competitive pair skater. With her husband Todd Sand, she is the 1998 World silver medalist, a two-time World bronze medalist, and a three-time U.S. national champion (1994–96).
Elizabeth Cynthia Barr, later known by her married name Beth Isaak, is an American former competition swimmer who was a backstroke specialist and Olympic silver medalist. As a 16-year-old, she represented the United States at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. She who won a silver medal by swimming the backstroke leg for the second-place U.S. team in the women's 4×100-meter medley relay, together with teammates Janel Jorgensen (butterfly), Tracey McFarlane (breaststroke), and Mary Wayte (freestyle). Individually, she also competed in the women's 100-meter backstroke, finishing fifth in the event final with a time of 1:02.78, and the women's 200-meter backstroke, finishing fourth in 2:12.39.
Janel Simone Jorgensen, later known by her married name Janel McArdle, is an American former competition swimmer and butterfly specialist. As a 17-year-old at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, she won a silver medal as a member of the second-place U.S. team in the women's 4×100-meter medley relay, together with her teammates Beth Barr (backstroke), Tracey McFarlane (breaststroke), and Mary Wayte (freestyle).
Tracey Danielle McFarlane, later known by her married name Tracey Mirande, is a former competition swimmer who represented both Canada and the United States in international championships. She competed primarily in breaststroke events.
Beth Anne Botsford is an American former competition swimmer and backstroke specialist who won two gold medals as a fifteen-year-old at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. She did so in the individual 100-meter backstroke, and as a member of the women's relay team in 4×100-meter medley.

Elizabeth Mowins is an American play-by-play announcer and sports journalist for ESPN, CBS, and Marquee Sports Network. She typically calls women's college sports, and became the second woman to call nationally televised college football games for ESPN in 2005. She began doing play-by-play for NFL games in 2017 and became the first woman to call a nationally televised NFL game. In 2021, she became the first woman to call play-by-play for an NBA game on network TV.
Marcelien Bos-de Koning is a Dutch three-time world champion and Olympic silver medalist sports sailor. She represented her country at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Qingdao. With crew member Lobke Berkhout Bos-de Koning took the silver medal as helmsman in the Women's 470. Bos-de Koning returned as crew member to the 2012 Olympic match regatta's in Weymouth in the Elliott 6m. With helmsman Renee Groeneveld and fellow crew member Annemieke Bes Bos-de Koning took 8th place.

In 2012 at London, she finished in sixth position in the quadruple sculls. She announced her retirement from international rowing on 16 December 2015.
Kristen J. Thorsness is an American former competitive rower and Olympic gold medalist. She was a member of the American women's eights team that won the gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, the first US women's crew to win Olympic gold. She grew up in Alaska, and started rowing at the University of Wisconsin. She was named the Big Ten Conference's rower of the decade and was runner up for Big Ten female athlete of the decade. In addition to the 1984 Olympic team, she was part of three World championship silver medal-winning crews and was a member of the 1988 Olympic team. She is a member of the US Rowing Hall of Fame, an inaugural inductee into the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame, and is also a member of the University of Wisconsin Athletics Hall of Fame. She served on the US Rowing board of directors, currently serves on US Rowing's referee committee, and has been a US Rowing referee since 2003. She has been an attorney since 1989, currently practicing law in Rochester, New York and is an arbitrator for the Court of Arbitration for Sport and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
