Beyond the Door is Harper's first ever DVD release. The DVD combines studio footage recorded at Harper's home in February, August and September 2005, with images, illustrations, animations, "The Death of God" song video, and live performance footage recorded on 22 and 29 July 2004 at the Irish folk club "De Barra's" in Clonakilty, Cork of Harper accompanied by Matt Churchill.
The package also included an additional 10-track audio CD of the De Barra's performances, an 8-page booklet, and (on the DVD) an interview with Harper.
The release received a 4-star review from Mojo, UNCUT and from Classic Rock magazine, who made it their "DVD of the month".
Vulture Street is the fifth studio album by Australian alternative rock band by Powderfinger, released on 29 July 2003 by Universal Music. It won the 2003 ARIA Music Award for Best Rock Album. Produced by Nick DiDia, Vulture Street was certified platinum, and spent 47 weeks on the ARIA Charts and peaked at #1. The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus was a concert show organised by the Rolling Stones on 11 December 1968. The show was filmed on a makeshift circus stage with Jethro Tull, the Who, Taj Mahal, Marianne Faithfull, and the Rolling Stones. John Lennon and his fiancee Yoko Ono also performed as part of a one-shot supergroup called the Dirty Mac, featuring Eric Clapton, Mitch Mitchell, and Keith Richards. The original idea for the concert was going to include the Small Faces, the Rolling Stones, and the Who, and the concept of a circus was first thought up between Mick Jagger, Pete Townshend and Ronnie Lane. It was meant to be aired on the BBC, but instead the Rolling Stones withheld it. The Rolling Stones contended they did so because of their substandard performance, clearly exhausted after 15 hours. There is also the fact that this was Brian Jones last appearance with the Rolling Stones; he drowned some seven months later while the film was being edited. Some speculate that another reason for not releasing the film was that the Who, who were fresh off a concert tour, seemingly upstaged the Stones on their own production. Led Zeppelin was considered for inclusion but the idea was dropped. The show was not released commercially until 1996.
"Night Moves" is a song by American singer-songwriter Bob Seger. It was the lead single from his ninth studio album, Night Moves (1976), which was released on Capitol Records. Seger wrote the song as a coming of age tale about adolescent love and adult memory of it. It was based on Seger's own teenage love affair he experienced in the early 1960s. It took him six months to write and was recorded quickly at Nimbus Nine Studios in Toronto, Ontario, with producer Jack Richardson. As much of Seger's Silver Bullet Band had returned home by this point, the song was recorded with several local session musicians.
"Surfin' U.S.A." is a song with lyrics by Brian Wilson set to the music of "Sweet Little Sixteen", written by Chuck Berry. Mike Love also contributed to the lyrics, but was not credited. The song was first recorded by Wilson's band the Beach Boys and released as a single on March 4, 1963, then appeared as the title track to their album Surfin' U.S.A. Also produced by Wilson, the single peaked at number two in the chart of the Music Vendor trade paper and at number three on the Billboard and Cash Box charts. It was backed with "Shut Down".
