The 14th Biathlon European Championships were held in Bansko, Bulgaria from February 21 to February 25, 2007.
There were total of 16 competitions held: sprint, pursuit, individual and relay both for U26 and U21.

The United States Virgin Islands, officially the Virgin Islands of the United States, are a group of Caribbean islands and an unincorporated and organized territory of the United States. The 2018 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXIII Olympic Winter Games and commonly known as PyeongChang 2018, was an international winter multi-sport event that was held between 9 and 25 February 2018 in Pyeongchang County, Gangwon Province, South Korea, with the opening rounds for certain events held on 8 February 2018, the day before the opening ceremony.
General of the Army is a five-star general officer and the second highest possible rank in the United States Army. A General of the Army ranks immediately above a general and is equivalent to a fleet admiral and a General of the Air Force. The General of the Army insignia consisted of five 3⁄8 inch (9.5 mm) stars in a pentagonal pattern, with points touching. The insignia was paired with the gold and enameled United States Coat of Arms on service coat shoulder loops. The silver colored five-star metal insignia alone would be worn for use as a collar insignia of grade and on the garrison cap. Soft shoulder epaulettes with five 7⁄16 inch (11 mm) stars in silver thread and gold-threaded United States Coat of Arms on green cloth were worn with shirts and sweaters.

The Guantanamo Bay detention camp is a United States military prison located within Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, also referred to as Guantánamo, G-Bay, GTMO, and Gitmo, which is on the coast of Guantánamo Bay in Cuba. Indefinite detention without trial and torture have led the operations of this camp to be considered a major breach of human rights by Amnesty International and a violation of Due Process Clause of the Fifth and Fourteenth amendments of the United States Constitution.
The 2007 CONCACAF U-20 Qualifying Tournament was held to determine the four CONCACAF entrants into the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which was hosted by Canada. The tournament final was held in two groups of four with the top two from each group advancing. Group A was held in Panama and Group B was held in Mexico. On January 21, 2007, the United States and Panama qualified to the U-20 World Cup. On February 23, 2007, Mexico and Costa Rica achieved qualification as well.
