The 2021 Biathlon European Championships were held from 27 to 31 January 2021 in Duszniki-Zdrój, Poland. [1] It was also a stage of the 2020–21 Biathlon IBU Cup.

1. ^ When the 20 km individual race took place, Andrejs Rastorgujevs was placed first in the and awarded the gold medal. However in September 2021 Rastorgujevs was issued with a competition ban due to an anti-doping rule violation and had all of his results disqualified back dated to July 2020. The results were updated on the IBU website. [2]

The 2021–22 Biathlon World Cup (BWC) was a multi-race series over a season of biathlon, organised by the International Biathlon Union. The season started on 27 November 2021 in Östersund, Sweden and ended on 20 March 2022 in Oslo Holmenkollen, Norway.

Biathlon at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held at the National Biathlon Centre, in the Zhangjiakou cluster of competition venues, 180 kilometres (110 mi) north of Beijing, at an elevation of 1,665 metres (5,463 ft), from 5 to 18 February 2022.

The 2021–22 Biathlon IBU Cup was a multi-race tournament over a season of biathlon, organised by the IBU. IBU Cup is the second-rank competition in biathlon after the Biathlon World Cup. The season started on 25 November 2021 in Idre, Sweden and ended on 13 March 2022 in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna, Italy.
