Big Brother 2024, also known as Big Brother 14 is the fourteenth season of the German reality television series Big Brother . The show returned after a four-year hiatus and begins airing on 4 March 2024 on Sat.1 and Joyn and will end after 100 days on 10 June 2024. It is the first regular season of Big Brother to be predominantly aired on a streaming platform in Germany and Sat.1 will only air the weekly live shows. Marcus Bräuer from Berlin was announced the winner of the show after 99 days and won the 100.000 € cashprize.
On 6 February 2024 it was announced that Jochen Schropp will be presenting the weekly live shows who he has already been hosting the celebrity version since 2014. [1]

On 1 March 2024, Joyn released the new eye logo, which is a variation of the former eye. A multi-colored ring, representing each housemate, replaces the green ring formerly used. [3]
The theme song of the show's intro and outro is "Leb!", the original theme song from season 1.
The official pictures of the new Big Brother house were released on 1 March 2024. It will mostly feature the same furniture previously used on season 11 of Promi Big Brother. [4]

Each week, the housemates will select a Container Chef, who will make important decisions throughout the week and is responsible for the daily life in the house.
Each week, Big Brother will set the housemates a weekly task. If successful, housemates will have a shopping budget of €4 per person per day. If not, they will have a budget of €2 per person per day.
Each week, one person will be designated to do the shopping list for the housemates in the diary room. But Big Brother will tempt the housemates with different treats which will reduce the shopping budget.

Big Brother Portugal is the Portuguese version of the international reality television franchise Big Brother, produced by Endemol for Portuguese channel TVI. TVI launched the show in 2000. Since its beginning, it has been a great success.
Loft Story is a Quebec television series broadcast on the TQS television network, and was an adaptation of the show Loft Story in France, which itself was an adaptation of the Big Brother franchise. TQS became V and replaced Loft Story with a new Big Brother series for Quebec in 2010.
Season Seven of Big Brother Germany lasted for 148 days from 5 February 2007 to 7 July 2007 and was shown on RTL Zwei.
The fourth season of Pinoy Big Brother, subtitled Unlimited premiered on the ABS-CBN network on October 29, 2011, and ran for 155 days until March 31, 2012. This is the fourth main season and the ninth season overall to air on the network. This season is currently the longest civilian season to date and broke the previous civilian season's record for the longest duration by three more weeks and also ranked as one of the show's longest seasons worldwide as of that time, only surpassed by a number of seasons held in Germany, until it was later beaten by Lucky 7 on 2016 and later on Otso which currently holds the record, with 268 days.
Big Brother 2015, also known as Big Brother 16 and Big Brother: Timebomb, was the sixteenth series of the British reality television series Big Brother, hosted by Emma Willis and narrated by Marcus Bentley. The series launched on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom and TV3 in the Republic of Ireland on 12 May 2015 and ended on 16 July 2015, a week earlier than planned. This was the earliest launch of a Big Brother series since the show's inception in 2000. It is the fifth regular series and the thirteenth series of Big Brother overall to air on Channel 5, and is the first regular series to air in May since Big Brother 8 in 2007. It is also the first series to air in Ireland since its move to Channel 5 in 2011. On 2 February 2015, it was revealed that Willis had stepped down as a host on the show's spin-off series Big Brother's Bit on the Side, though Rylan Clark will continue.
Celebrity Big Brother 15 was the fifteenth series of the British reality television series Celebrity Big Brother. The series launched on 7 January 2015 on Channel 5 and ended after 31 days on 6 February 2015; at the time it was the longest ever celebrity series. The seventeenth series in 2016 lasted a day longer with 32 days. It was the eighth celebrity series and the twelfth series of Big Brother overall to air on the channel. Emma Willis returned to host the series, whilst Rylan Clark continued to present the spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side alongside Willis. Repeats of the series aired on MTV, the first to do so. Willis decided to leave Big Brother's Bit on the Side after the end of this series, hosting her final show on 2 February 2015.
Big Brother Angola: Tesouro is the Angolan version of the Big Brother reality television franchise produced by Endemol for DStv. The season began on 25 May 2014 and ran until 27 July 2014, with a total of 64 days. The show is hosted by Dicla Burity.

Big Brother 6, also known as Big Brother: A Revolução, is the sixth season of the Portuguese version of the reality show Big Brother. It's the second original format of Big Brother to air in 2020, one month after the fifth season ended on 2 August 2020. It was also revealed on 5 July 2020 during the live eviction show that the audition for Big Brother 6 was open and the show will be called "Big Brother: A Revolução". The show is featuring a new format and rules, housemates will have to be more interactive and competitive in the house if they want to win.

The season began airing on 5 October 2021 on Top Channel, and ended after 137 days on 18 February 2022. The viewers can watch for the whole season live from the house in two live pay-per-view channels, with the name Big Brother VIP 1 and Big Brother VIP 2, which are available on Albanian TV platform DigitAlb. The two opinionists in the live evictions shows, were Arbër Hajdari and Balina Bodinaku. Dojna Mema hosted the spin-off show Big Brother VIP – Fans' Club and Iva Tiço was the opinionist. One week after the final of the show, was broadcast a reunion show, with the name Post Big Brother VIP. The three episodes were broadcast on 22 February, 25 February and 1 March 2022. The show was hosted by Arbana Osmani, and the two opinionists were Arbër Hajdari and Balina Bodinaku.

The season started airing on 24 December 2022 on Top Channel, and ended after 134 days on 6 May 2023. The whole season, live from the house, the viewers viewed in two live pay-per-view channels, with the name Big Brother VIP 1 and Big Brother VIP 2, which were available on Albanian television platform DigitAlb. Arbër Hajdari returned as opinionist in the live evictions shows and was joined by Zhaklin Lekatari, replacing Balina Bodinaku. Megi Pojani hosted the spin-off show Big Brother VIP – Fans' Club, replacing Dojna Mema. Ardit Cuni was the new opinionist for the spin-off show Fans' Club. A 60-minute radio show Big Brother Radio was introduced this season, with Elona Duro as the host. Like in the first season, one week after the final of the show, was broadcast a reunion show, with the name Post Big Brother VIP. This season the show was broadcast only for two episodes and the two episodes were broadcast on 13 May 2023 and 20 May 2023. The show was hosted by Arbana Osmani, and the two opinionists were Arbër Hajdari and Zhaklin Lekatari.
