Season chronology |
Veliki Brat 2015, also known as Veliki Brat 5 is the fifth season of the television reality show Veliki Brat , the Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and Macedonian joint version of Big Brother . This season is the fifth season of the show in Serbia and seventh overall in Croatia - for both a first season after the show went on a two-year hiatus. The show is broadcast by RTL for Croatia, B92 and Prva TV for Serbia, OBN and BN for Bosnia & Herzegovina, Sitel for Macedonia and Prva for Montenegro.
Veliki Brat 5 was originally planned for fall 2013, but producers decided to cancel, and said that they would instead to do one in early 2014. [1] Later on, in spring 2014, they said they plan to push it to fall 2014, or even spring 2015. On 12 October 2014, it was announced that the season will not be aired, because the house was demolished. [2] However, this news was fake, since Slovenia used that house earlier in 2015 for their season. It was later revealed that Veliki Brat would start on September 4, with Antonija Blaće and Sky Wikluh (who previously participated in Veliki Brat VIP 2) as the hosts. [3]
The Final took place on 12 December. This is the first season won by a Macedonian housemate.
Fourteen housemates entered the show on Day 1. On Day 2, Anton, Luka and Ivona entered the house. On Day 22, Mirjana and Vesna entered the house. On Day 50, Dorde and Jozefina entered the house.

Big Brother 2005, also known as Big Brother 6, was the sixth series of the British reality television series Big Brother. The show followed sixteen contestants, known as housemates, who were isolated from the outside world for an extended period of time in a custom-built House. Each week, one or more of the housemates were evicted by a public vote. The last remaining housemate, Anthony Hutton, was declared the winner, winning a cash prize of £50,000. Runner-up Eugene Sully also won the same amount during a task, two days before the final.
Big Brother Australia 2005, also known as Big Brother 5, was the fifth season of the Australian reality television series Big Brother, and was aired on Network Ten in Australia, and TV-2 in New Zealand with a four-week delay. The series started on 8 May 2005, with housemates going into the House the day before, and finished on 15 August 2005, lasting 101 days. The theme for this season was "single, sexy and competitive". Auditions for housemates were held in March 2005. In a departure from usual procedure, candidates were not required to send in videos of themselves as had been the case for prior auditions. Instead, the producers toured major Australian cities and conducted interviews. They searched for sexy singles that were willing to have sexual relations on camera. Promos for the show suggested that Big Brother would be different this year, and phrases such as "Assume Nothing, Expect Anything", "Let's Play" and "Think Again" were used throughout the series, especially during Opening Night. The winner announced on the finale that was watched by 2.282 million Australian viewers.
Big Brother 2006 was the second season of the Finnish reality television season Big Brother. It aired on SubTV in Finland, from 29 August 2006 to 1 December 2006, and lasted 96 days. A number of contestants lived in a purpose-built house in Espoo, and were isolated from the rest of the world. Each week, each housemate nominated two of their peers for eviction, and the housemates who received the most nominations would face a public vote. Of these, one would eventually leave, having been "evicted" from the house. However, there sometimes were exceptions to this process as dictated by Big Brother, known as "twists". In the final week, there were four housemates remaining, and the public voted for who they wanted to win. Sari Nygren received the most votes, and won the prize money of €50,000. The series's final broadcast obtained a peak audience of 540,000 viewers.
