Big Brother Africa 4 (also known as Big Brother Africa: Revolution) was the fourth series of the Big Brother Africa reality television series produced by Endemol. The series began airing on September 6, 2009, and aired for 92 days, ending on December 6, 2009, on M-Net. Nigerian television star IK Osakioduwa was the new host for the series. The grand prize fund this year is $200,000. [1]

A total of 25 housemates entered the House, an increase than previous series. Fourteen countries; Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe participated in this year's series. [1] On Day 0, twelve male housemates entered the House. During week one, Edward's twin, Erastus, switched places with each other. They will switch on and off in the first two weeks. On Day 7, twelve female housemates entered a secret House next door. On Day 14, Edward and Erastus was revealed to the male housemates as twins, and from now on will play as individuals.

Each week the housemates must nominate two of their fellow housemates for eviction. Each week the HoH must choose to save one of the initial evictees and replace them with another housemate. In weeks when more than two housemates are nominated for eviction the voting results to save are revealed as evict votes which go to housemates who received the fewest votes in a country or countries. Any changes that affect nominations are noted.

Many fans were not happy about the inequality of number of housemates per representing country. They were emphasizing on how some countries had three participants (e.g. Namibia, Nigeria) while other countries simply had one participant (e.g. Botswana, Ethiopia, Malawi, Tanzania, Ghana - whose only participant was evicted on the first week on the show). The fans complained about the issue to M-Net after how unfair the balance of the game was.
Big Brother México is a reality television series based on the international Big Brother format produced in the Netherlands by Endemol. Big Brother México was launched by Televisa in 2002. Before its debut, the idea of being watched twenty-four hours a day by a camera was shocking to some in Mexican society. The series was successful, and it was followed by a special edition called Big Brother VIP with Mexican celebrities from show business and even politics.
Big Brother Portugal is the Portuguese version of the international reality television franchise Big Brother, produced by Endemol for Portuguese channel TVI. TVI launched the show in 2000. Since its beginning, it has been a great success.
Loft Story is a Quebec television series broadcast on the TQS television network, and was an adaptation of the show Loft Story in France, which itself was an adaptation of the Big Brother franchise. TQS became V and replaced Loft Story with a new Big Brother series for Quebec in 2010.
Big Brother Africa 2 was the second series of the reality television show Big Brother Africa, produced by Endemol. The season began airing on 5 August 2007 and ran 98 days ending 11 November 2007.

The theme for this season's house was Heaven and Hell. Andy, Beni, Cathy, Daniel, Geraldine, and Madeleine entered on launch night with 24 other housemates entering throughout the season.
Secret Story 2009 is the third edition of the French reality show Secret Story. It began airing on TF1 on June 19, 2009 and continue to air until September 25, 2009, lasting 99 days, and is presented by Benjamin Castaldi, who presented Loft Story and the first two seasons of Secret Story.
Grande Fratello 10 was the tenth season of the Italian version of the reality show franchise Big Brother. The show premiered on 26 October 2009 and concluded on 8 March 2010. Alessia Marcuzzi returned as the main host of the show. The winner of the season, Mauro Marin, received a €250,000 grand prize.
Big Brother Africa 5 was the fifth season of the Big Brother Africa reality television series produced by Endemol. The season premiered on Sunday, July 18, 2010 and was broadcast by M-Net and M-NetAfrica for 91 days, concluding on October 17, 2010 when Nigeria's Uti was crowned the ultimate winner. Each week the Housemates nominated two of their own and the public voted to either save or evict them until only 5 Housemates remained on finale night. The grand prize for this season was initially $200,000, however, due to the strike that took place on Day 6, the grand prize was decreased by ten percent meaning that the winner will now receive $180,000. Since that incident and toward the end of the series, the grand prize has been reinstated as $200,000 although this reinstatement was never formally announced to the housemates and the public. 14 African countries took part in this year's series, namely: Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe). This season also use some of the game mechanics from the Secret Story franchise.
Big Brother Africa 6 was the sixth season of the reality television series Big Brother Africa produced by Endemol for M-Net which began airing on 1 May 2011 and ran for 91 days until 31 July 2011. This year Mnet co-partnered with Coca-Cola for the season. Ikponmwosa "IK" Osakioduwa came back to host the show for the third time in a row. The launch show was also broadcast live through the official website. This year the contestants will move into a brand new house. South African band BLKJKS (Blackjacks) performed their song 'Mzabalazo'; Busta Rhymes also performed during the 2 hour launch show.
The fourth season of the reality game show Pinoy Big Brother, subtitled Unlimited aired on ABS-CBN for 155 days from October 29, 2011 to March 31, 2012, replacing Pure Love and the second and third season of Pilipinas Got Talent.

Veliki Brat 2015, also known as Veliki Brat 5 is the fifth season of the television reality show Veliki Brat, the Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and Macedonian joint version of Big Brother. This season is the fifth season of the show in Serbia and seventh overall in Croatia - for both a first season after the show went on a two-year hiatus. The show is broadcast by RTL for Croatia, B92 and Prva TV for Serbia, OBN and BN for Bosnia & Herzegovina, Sitel for Macedonia and Prva for Montenegro.
Big Brother Australia 11, also known as Big Brother 2014, was the eleventh season of the Australian reality television series Big Brother. It began on 8 September 2014 on the Nine Network. The season ended on 26 November 2014, lasting 80 days. Excluding the celebrity edition and the Channel Seven editions of the show, this is the shortest Big Brother season of the original format. The winner of the season was Ryan Ginns, who won a total of A$200,000. The show's renewal was confirmed by the Nine Network, who air the show, at the end of the previous season's finale. This was the third season of the show to air on the Nine Network after it picked up the series in 2012, following a four-year absence. The show was originally screened on Network Ten. Sonia Kruger continued as the host of the show, and Mike Goldman continued as the narrator.
Big Brother South Africa: Secrets was the third season of the South African Big Brother reality television series reboot produced by Endemol for M-Net. It began on 2 February 2014 with a original host, Mark Pilgrim. The season was sponsored by South African drink brand service, Coca-Cola. This season also use some of the game mechanics from the Secret Story franchise.
Big Brother Albania 7 was the seventh season of the Albanian series of the worldwide franchise of Big Brother. It was based upon the Dutch series of the same name, which gained popularity in 1999 and 2000. It started on February 21, 2014, on Top Channel and ended after ninety-nine days on May 30, 2014. The main host was Arbana Osmani, who returned for the seventh season in a row. The live eviction show this year moved to Fridays at 21:00 CET, while the Daily Recap show aired every day of the week in different schedules, also including a weekly recap on Sundays. Ledion Liço was rumored to be the host of the spin-off show Big Brother Albania Fans' Club thus replacing Albana Osmani, but however in last minute changes, Albana Osmani returned for the third season in a row. The Fans' Club show featured dialogues with eliminated contestants and fans of the show. Liço started hosting a new spin-off series that started airing during the season, called Jashtë Bigut, which was part of the Sunday marathon of E Diell on the same network. Armand Peza took over for the second time, the role of the panelist. Peza had also been a panelist on only the first season of Big Brother Albania.
Big Brother Slovenija 2015 is the third main season of the Slovenian version of Big Brother, which is broadcast on Kanal A. This is the first civilian season of Big Brother to air in Slovenia since 2008. The show also had a celebrity season in 2010, however, it aired on another channel, POP TV. Though the season launched on March 6, 2015, three housemates entered prior to the launch. These three housemates were already living in a Secret Room, without the audience or housemates knowledge. The host of the show this season Ana Maria Mitič. Due to budget restraints this season the house is not located in Slovenia. Instead, it is located in the old Veliki Brat house, in Serbia which was home to the Balkan version of the show. The Season was won by 21-year-old Pia Filipčič
Big Brother Naija Season 3, also known as Big Brother Naija: Double Wahala is the third season of the Nigerian version of the reality show Big Brother. Produced by South Africa's Red Pepper Pictures and it was launched on 28 January 2018 on DStv channel 198 which also served as a live feed form the house. Ex-housemate Ebuka Obi-Uchendu from season one as the host. This season ended on 22 April 2018, having run for 12 weeks.

Big Brother Titans is the joint South African and Nigerian edition of the Big Brother franchise. The theme for the first season was "Ziyakhala Wahala". The show features housemates from South Africa and Nigeria.
