Bijukuttan (born 28 May 1976) is an Indian actor and comedian who appears in Malayalam films. As of June 2021, he has acted in more than 70 Malayalam films. [1]
Bijukuttan is born in Pazhayangadi, Kannur to Mr Gregory James. [2] He completed most of his schooling from Ursuline senior secondary school, Payyambalam and he is BA English drop out from St Joseph College, Pilathara, Kannur [3] Biju is married to Subitha. [4] The couple have two daughters—Lakshmi and Parvathi. [5]

In 2007, he acted in a supporting role alongside Mammootty in the Malayalam film Pothen Vava . [6] It was a comedic role. In the same year, he acted in another full-length comedy role in the Mohanlal starrer Chotta Mumbai , which gave a major breakthrough in his career. [7]

The film was produced on behalf of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) as a fundraiser to financially support actors who are struggling in the Malayalam film industry. All the actors in AMMA worked without payment in order to raise funds for their welfare schemes. The film features an ensemble cast, which includes almost all major artists in Mollywood. The music was composed by Berny-Ignatius and Suresh Peters while C. Rajamani provided Background Score.
