Gwendolynne Sophia Moore is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Wisconsin's 4th congressional district since 2005. In 2016,Moore was elected to serve as caucus whip of the Congressional Black Caucus for the 115th United States Congress. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Her district is based in Milwaukee and as a result of the 2011 redistricting also includes some Milwaukee County suburbs:Bayside,Brown Deer,Cudahy,Fox Point,Glendale,St. Francis,South Milwaukee,West Milwaukee,Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. Moore is the first woman to represent the district and the second woman after Tammy Baldwin and the first African American elected to Congress from Wisconsin.

Andrew Cuomo,the 56th governor of New York,was accused of sexual harassment by multiple women starting in December 2020,with the accusations covering a range of alleged behavior. He denied all allegations and has apologized for his comments being interpreted as sexually charged. On February 28,2021,New York Attorney General Letitia James announced that she would hire and deputize a law firm to conduct an independent investigation into the allegations. On March 11,the New York State Assembly authorized an impeachment investigation into the allegations. In August 2021,James released an investigatory report which stated that Cuomo sexually harassed 11 women during his time in office,with actions such as unwanted groping,kissing and sexual comments. The controversy surrounding these allegations culminated in Governor Cuomo's resignation from office. Cuomo was replaced by his Lieutenant Governor,Kathy Hochul.
Jennifer R. Dorow is an American attorney from Wisconsin. She is a Wisconsin circuit court judge in Waukesha County,serving since 2011. She previously served as chief judge of the 3rd district of Wisconsin circuit courts (2017–2023). In 2022,she presided over the trial of Darrell Brooks Jr.,the perpetrator of the Waukesha Christmas parade attack,which received national news coverage. Following that trial,Dorow ran for a vacant seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court,but was eliminated in the primary.
The One Hundred First Wisconsin Legislature convened from January 7,2013,through January 5,2015,in regular session,though it adjourned for legislative activity on May 21,2014. The legislature also held three special sessions during this legislative term.
