Binghamton University School of Management is the business school of Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, one of five professional schools on campus. The School of Management offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in management, finance, information science, marketing and accounting. Upinder Dhillon oversees the school as dean and Koffman Scholar of Finance. It is accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

History of SOM

The undergraduate business program of the School of Management was founded at Binghamton University in 1970. [2]

The procedure for candidates applying for admission is essentially the same as for other students applying for admission to the university.

Undergraduate Business Program

The total number of undergraduate students at the Binghamton University SOM is 1,473 and the number of students who graduate from the business program within six years of admission to the university is at 84%. [2] The two undergraduate programs offered are BS in Accounting and BS in Management. [3] Concentrations available for BS in Management majors include Consulting and Leadership, Finance, Financial Engineering, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Global Management, and Supply Chain Management.

Binghamton's undergraduate business school (SOM) was 'unranked', and its graduate business school was given 'tied 84th' by the US News and World Report based on 2022 rankings. [4] Binghamton University as a whole was named America's #4 "Best Value Public" college by The Princeton Review 2012.[ citation needed ]

Graduate Business Program

Binghamton University SOM offers MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Accountancy and PhD programs at the graduate level. [5]

Concentrations available for MBA students include Business Analytics, Finance, Leadership Studies, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, and Marketing. PhD students can choose concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Organizational behavior/Leadership studies, and Supply chain management. [6]

Asper School of Business

The Asper School of Business is located on the University of Manitoba, Fort Garry Campus in South Winnipeg, Manitoba. The school began in 1937 as the University of Manitoba Faculty of Management. The school was renamed in 2000 in honour of Izzy Asper, noted for his many contributions to the City of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba over the span of his life. There are currently 1,750 B.Comm. students attending the school.

The Eli Broad College of Business is the business college at Michigan State University. The college has programs in accounting, finance, general management, human resource management, marketing, supply chain management, and hospitality business, which is an independent, industry-specific school within the Broad College. Founded in 1936, and claiming distinction as the second oldest business school in North Carolina, the College houses both undergraduate and graduate students. Olin Business School

The Olin Business School is one of seven academic schools at Washington University in St. Louis. Founded in 1917, the business school was renamed for entrepreneur John M. Olin in 1988. The school offers BSBA, Master of Business Administration (MBA), MS in Supply Chain Management, MS in Finance, Masters in Accounting, MS in Business Analytics, MS in Leadership, Executive MBA, Doctor of Business in Finance (DBA) and PhD degrees. The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) also known as "CBM" is a private university and business school in Karachi, Pakistan. IoBM is composed of four colleges, the College of Business Management (CBM), the College of Economics and Social Development (CESD), the College of Computer Science and Information Systems (CCSIS) and the College of Engineering Sciences (CES).

The undergraduate program prepares students for business careers, while its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is based on focused career specializations, and its PhD program prepares students for careers in academia. The school offers student services, such as Undergraduate Advising Services, The Business Career Center, and International Programs. In the 2019 U.S. News & World Report rankings, the Wisconsin School of Business's undergraduate program was ranked 18th overall among business schools.

Carl H. Lindner College of Business

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business, also referred to as "Lindner" and "Lindner College," is a college of the University of Cincinnati. The college is located in Carl H. Lindner Hall. On June 21, 2011, the college was named after Carl Henry Lindner, Jr. in honor of the contributions he has made to the university, college, and the business community. The college has three undergraduate degree options, five master's degrees, and a doctoral program spread out over seven departments.

The John Chambers College of Business and Economics is the business school of West Virginia University, a state university located in Morgantown in the U.S. State of West Virginia. The college building is in the downtown campus of the university. The college offers ten undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) programs and one Bachelor of Science in Economics program, seven master programs, and doctoral programs throughout its six departments. The University's rankings have fallen significantly in recent years down from 187 to 205 over the course of 2018 to 2019.
