Bintulu Hospital is the fourth largest hospital in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia.
Bintulu Hospital is developed on 21 May 2000 and has been initiated to meet the needs of the growing population and also to reduce the influx of patients in Bintulu. [2]
Bintulu Hospital is equipped with a fully computerized system namely Hospital Information System (HIS). HIS is a comprehensive integrated information system designed to manage the administrative, financial and clinical aspects of the hospital. Bintulu Hospital is one of the three public hospitals in Malaysia selected to fully implement this system. [2]
Bintulu Hospital offers a wide range of medical treatments, from general treatments to specialists, which include obstetrics & gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, surgery and pediatric services. [2]

Bintulu Division is one of the twelve administrative divisions of Sarawak, Malaysia. It has a total area of 12,166.2 square kilometres, and is the third largest division after Kapit Division and Miri Division. Bintulu Division consists of two districts which is Bintulu and Tatau, together with a sub-district under Bintulu, which is Sebauh. Three major towns in Bintulu are Bintulu, Tatau and Sebauh.

He is a member of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP), a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and formerly Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has served as President of PDP since November 2017. In accordance with its expansion to West Malaysia in November 2017, the party was rebranded with its new name and logo from the Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP), a former component party of the BN coalition. He served as the 3rd Chairman of the BN Backbenchers Club from April 2008 to June 2013. He also served as President of SPDP from May 2014 to November 2017 and Deputy President of SPDP from March 2012 to his promotion to the SPDP presidency in May 2014 and previously the Treasurer-General of SPDP. Following the collapse of the BN administration after the 2018 general election and in the aftermath, a meeting between all Sarawak-based BN component parties was held on 12 June 2018, PDP decided to leave the coalition with the other three parties to form a new Sarawak-based political coalition in the meeting, namely the GPS coalition.
