Chen Long, is a Chinese former professional badminton player. He is the 2016 Olympic champion, two-time World champion, and an Asian champion.
Datuk Lee Chong Wei is a Malaysian former professional badminton player. As a singles player, Lee was ranked first worldwide for 349 weeks, including a 199-week streak from 21 August 2008 to 14 June 2012. He is the fifth Malaysian player after Foo Kok Keong, Rashid Sidek, Roslin Hashim and Wong Choong Hann to achieve such a ranking, and is the only Malaysian shuttler who has held the number one ranking for more than a year. On 2 May 2023, Lee was inducted to BWF Badminton Hall of Fame. He is considered in sources as one of the greatest badminton players of all time.

The MRT Putrajaya Line, is the second Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Klang Valley, Malaysia, and the third fully automated and driverless rail system in the country. It was previously known as the MRT Sungai Buloh–Serdang–Putrajaya Line. The line stretches from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya and runs through densely populated areas such as Sri Damansara, Kepong, Batu, Jalan Ipoh, Sentul, Kampung Baru, Jalan Tun Razak, KLCC, Tun Razak Exchange, Kuchai Lama, Seri Kembangan and Cyberjaya.
Kento Momota is a former Japanese badminton player. He has won several major badminton tournaments including two World Championships titles, two Asian Championships titles, and one All England title. Momota has received a Guinness World Records certificate for "The most badminton men's singles titles in a season", for his achievements by winning 11 titles in the 2019 season. He is considered to be one of the greats of badminton.

The Klang Valley Integrated Transit System is an integrated transport network that primarily serves the area of Klang Valley and Greater Kuala Lumpur. The system commenced operations in August 1995 with the introduction of commuter rail service on the existing rail between Kuala Lumpur and Rawang. The system have since expanded and currently consists of 11 fully operating rail lines in a radial formation; two commuter rail lines, six rapid transit lines, one bus rapid transit line and two airport rail links to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport's (KLIA) Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and one temperarily suspended airport rail link to the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. The system encompasses 528.4 kilometres (328.3 mi) of grade-separated route on standard gauge and metre gauge with 197 operational stations.

The Boys' Singles tournament of the 2012 Asian Junior Badminton Championships was held from July 3–7 in Gimcheon, South Korea. The defending champion of the last edition was Zulfadli Zulkiffli from Malaysia. The top seeded Sameer Verma of India had lost in the semifinals to third seeded Kento Momota of Japan, while the second seeded Shesar Hiren Rhustavito from Indonesia, lost to Yuki Kaneko of Japan in fourth round. Momota finally emerged as the champion after beat Malaysian player Soong Joo Ven in the finals with the score 21–13, 22–20.
Sivasangari Subramaniam is a Malaysian professional squash player. As of May 2022, she was ranked number 20 in the world. She became the 2018 British Junior Open Champion by defeating Satomi Watanabe. She has most recently won the Gillen Market's London Classic Gold event, in which she beat current world nr.2 Hania El Hamammy (Egypt). Throughout the tournament she had also beaten the likes of current world Champion and world number 1 Nour El Sherbini, as well as current world number 4 Nele Gilis.
Tan Kim Her is a former Malaysian badminton player and coach. He is currently Japan's men's doubles coach.
Robert Lin Woon Fui is a former Malaysian national badminton player. He came fifth at the 2006 IBF World Championships – Men's doubles with his partner Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari. Lin works as a player-coach at the AirAsia Badminton Academy. In July 8, 2022, Lin was charged in the Sessions Court Shah Alam, Malaysia with two counts of cheating. The charge, framed under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property, carry a sentence of up to 10 years jail, whipping and a fine, upon conviction.
Noor Hisham bin Abdullah is a Malaysian civil servant and endocrine surgeon who served as the Director-General of Health from March 2013 to his retirement in April 2023. Prior to his appointment as the Director-General, he served as the Deputy Director General of Health (Medical) from February 2008 to March 2013.

The 2020 Denmark Open was a badminton tournament which took place at the Odense Sports Park in Denmark from 13 to 18 October 2020. It had a total purse of $750,000. Some badminton powerhouse countries such as China, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand did not send their representatives to the event in the light of the COVID 19 pandemic, causing a less competitive event in which most top players did not participate. Some Japanese players, including Kento Momota, did not participate as well.
