A physician is implicated in the death of his wife which allowed him to marry her sister.
The Monthly Film Bulletin wrote: "An indifferent murder story. Every piece oI the puzzle ialls into place too perfectly and none of the players seem really comfortable in their parts, even Ronald Howard lacking his usual charm." [4]
Sky Movies wrote, "following his success in the title parts of the Paul Temple and Toff films, John Bentley starred in this murder melodrama which is very typical of British second feature production of the period." [5]
Ronald Howard was an English actor and writer. He appeared as Sherlock Holmes in a weekly television series of the same name in 1954. He was the son of the actor Leslie Howard.
