Tirana is the capital and largest city of Albania. It is located in the centre of the country,enclosed by mountains and hills with Dajti rising to the east and a slight valley to the northwest overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the distance. It is among the wettest and sunniest cities in Europe,with 2,544 hours of sun per year.
Transport in Albania consists of transport by land,water and air,which are predominantly under the supervision of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Albania. The development and improvement of the transport in the country remains among the most important priorities of the Government of Albania.
Tirana International Airport NënëTereza,often referred to as the Rinas International Airport,is one of the two main international airports of the Republic of Albania. It serves the city of Tirana,its metropolitan area,and surrounding region in the county of Tirana. The airport is named in honor of the Albanian Roman Catholic nun and missionary,Mother Teresa (1910–1997). It is located 6 nautical miles northwest of Tirana,in the municipality of Krujë,Durrës County.
Tirana County,officially the County of Tirana,is a county in the Central Region of the Republic of Albania. It is the tenth largest by area and the most populous of the twelve counties,with more than 912,000 people within an area of 1,652 km2 (638 sq mi). The county borders on the Adriatic Sea to the west,the counties of Durrës to the northwest,Dibër to the northeast,Elbasan to the east and Fier to the southwest. Radio Televizioni Shqiptar is the national public broadcasting company of Albania. Founded in 1938,it operates several radio and television channels,over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. The international television service via satellite RTSH Sat was launched in 1993 and is aimed at Albanian-speaking communities in Kosovo,Serbia,North Macedonia,Montenegro,and northern Greece,plus the Albanian diaspora in the rest of Europe. RTSH is funded by a combination of commercial advertising,an annual licence fee of US$10.00 and grant-in-aid from the Albanian government.
The International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage,usually known by its acronym TICCIH,is the international society dedicated to the study of industrial archaeology and the protection,promotion and interpretation of the industrial heritage. TICCIH's Nizhny Tagil Charter (archived),signed in 2003,is the international guidance document for the industrial heritage. In 2011,the Joint ICOMOS –TICCIH Principles for the Conservation of Industrial Heritage Sites,Structures,Areas and Landscapes,also called "The Dublin Principles",were adopted in Paris.
SC Besa Pejë is a football club based in Peja,Kosovo. Their home ground is Shahin Haxhiislami and they compete in the Second Football League of Kosovo. The club went defunct after having lots of financial problems and not being able to climb up the Kosovo football league system,but were refounded the following year after a merger with another club,thus adopting a new name,new colors for the club and a new crest.

Eshref Effendy Frasheri,also referred to as Eshtref Bey Frashëri,was an Albanian politician. He served as co-Chairman of the National Council of Albania from 1921 until 1923 and Deputy Chairman 1932-1938.

The A3 motorway is a motorway in Albania spanning 31.17 kilometres across the counties of Elbasan and Tirana. It consists of two traffic lanes and an emergency lane in each driving direction,except in tunnels where there are emergency bays instead,separated by a central reservation.
The Highways in Albania are the central state and main transport network in Albania. The motorways and expressways are both part of the national road network. The motorways are primary roads with a speed limit of 110 kilometres per hour (68 mph). They have white on green road signs such as in Italy and other countries nearby. The expressways are the secondary roads,also dual carriageways,but without an emergency lane. They have a speed limit of 90 kilometres per hour (56 mph). They have white-on-blue road signs.
The Kategoria Superiore Player of the Month is an association football award that recognises the best Kategoria Superiore player each month of the season. It is presented by association "Sporti Na Bashkon". This award was established in the 2010–11 season.
Erion Veliaj is an Albanian,politician,who is currently serving as the Mayor of Tirana. Stemming from a civil society activism organization as the leader of MJAFT!,Veliaj joined the ranks of the Socialist Party of Albania in 2011,when he was appointed Secretary for Youth and Immigration.
