The Blu celeste Tour is the debut tour by Italian singer Blanco, in support of his 2021 studio album Blu celeste . Consisting of two legs and 35 shows, the tour began on 3 April 2022 in Padua and concluded on 17 September 2022 in Milan.

Development

Following the success of his first studio album Blu celeste , Blanco announced the dates for the first leg of the Blu celeste Tour on 21 December 2021. [1] It initially consisted of eight shows, but seven dates were added in Padua, Milan, Rome, Venaria Reale, Florence, Bologna and Brescia after tickets sold out in less than hour on the same day of the tour announcement. [2] After Blanco and Mahmood's win at the Sanremo Music Festival 2022, nineteen new shows were added as part of the second leg of the tour in the summer. [3] Tickets sold out in a few hours, with the tour reaching a total of 300,000 tickets sold. [4] [5]

Riccardo Fabbriconi, known professionally as Blanco, is an Italian singer, rapper and songwriter. He rose to prominence in 2021 with the hits "La canzone nostra" and "Mi fai impazzire", which topped the Italian Singles Chart. He later released his debut album Blu celeste, driven by the singles "Notti in bianco", "Paraocchi" and the title track. In 2022, he won the 72nd Sanremo Music Festival alongside Mahmood with the song "Brividi", with which the duo represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, finishing in sixth place.

Michele Zocca, professionally known as Michelangelo, is an Italian record producer, songwriter and musician, best known for his frequent collaborations with Blanco. He became interested in music at an early age and later joined a conservatory, but soon left to study music production as an autodidact. He rose in popularity after producing Blanco's debut studio album, Blu celeste, and his entry for the Sanremo Music Festival 2022, "Brividi", a collaboration with Mahmood. In 2022, he was the third songwriter with the most certified copies in Italy, having sold 1.8 million copies across all his collaborations.
