Venstre, full name Venstre, Danmarks Liberale Parti, is a conservative-liberal, agrarian political party in Denmark. Founded as part of a peasants' movement against the landed aristocracy, today it espouses an economically liberal, pro-free-market ideology.
Venstres Ungdom is the youth wing of the Danish liberal Party Venstre.
Kristian Jensen is a Danish politician who was Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark from 2015 to 2016, Minister of Finance from 2016 to 2019 and Minister of Taxation from 2004 to 2010. Jensen is a member of the liberal party Venstre. He briefly served as acting chairman of Venstre in 2019. From 1998 to 2021 he was a member of the Folketing.
The five Regions of Denmark were created as administrative entities at a level above the municipalities and below the central government in the public sector as part of the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform, when the 13 counties (amter) were abolished. At the same time, the number of municipalities (kommuner) was cut from 270 to 98. The reform was approved and made into a law by the lawmakers in the Folketing 26 June 2005 with elections to the 98 municipalities and 5 regions being held Tuesday 15 November 2005.
Carl Holst is a Danish politician, representing the liberal party Venstre. He is the first Region Mayor of Region of Southern Denmark, an office he assumed on 1 January 2007. He served as County Mayor of South Jutland County from 1 July 2000, following the unexpected resignation of the former county mayor, Kresten Philipsen. Holst was re-elected in 2001, and served in this capacity until 31 December 2006, when the Danish counties were abolished.
Lars Christian Lilleholt (born 2 March 1965 in Odense) is a Danish politician, who is a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party. He was Minister of Energy, Utilities and Climate from 2015 to 2019. He was elected into parliament in the 2001 Danish general election.
Poul Weber is a Danish politician, representing the Liberal party Venstre. He served as the last County Mayor of Funen County. As from 1 January 2007, Funen forms part of Region Syddanmark.
Martin Raahauge Borreskov Geertsen is a Danish politician, who is a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party. He entered parliament in 2018 after Søren Pind resigned his seat. He was previously a member of parliament between 2011 and 2015. He is a former mayor of the Culture Committee in Copenhagen and former political leader of the Venstre party in Copenhagen.
Lars Løkke Rasmussen is a Danish politician who has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2022. He previously served as the 25th Prime Minister of Denmark from 2009 to 2011 and again from 2015 to 2019. He was the leader of the liberal Venstre party from 2009 to 2019.

He has held his current position as a member of the European Parliament since 2016. He represents the Venstre political party and is affiliated with the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.

He served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2014 until 2019, as a member of the Danish Social Liberal Party, part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. He is currently a member of the Christian Democrats.
Local elections were held on 19 November 2013 in Denmark's 98 municipal councils, contesting 2,444 seats for the 2014–2017 term of office, and in five regional councils, contesting 205 seats for the 2014–2017 term. Advance voting began on 20 August 2013 in national registration offices in Denmark, hospitals, prisons, etc. Twelve women held the highest political office of mayor in the municipalities in the 2014–2017 term of office.
Karsten Styrbæk Lauritzen is a Danish politician, who is a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party. He was elected into parliament in the 2007 Danish general election. He served as Minister of Taxation from 2015 to 2019.

Local elections were held in 2021 for Denmark's 98 municipal councils and five regional councils. All 2,436 seats were contested for the 2022–2025 term of office, together with 205 seats in five regional councils. Frederiksberg Municipality had increased their number of councillors from 25 to 29.
Mads Rørvig Nielsen is a former Danish politician who was a member of the Danish Parliament from 2010 to 2015. He represented the district Silkeborg Sydkredsen as a member of the Venstre party. As of June 2020, Rørvig is the CEO of De Danske Bilimportører.

Ester Larsen is a Danish Venstre politician and schoolteacher who served as the Danish Minister of Health under the final two governments of Prime Minister Poul Schlüter from 1989 to 1993. She was a member of the Folketing as a representative of the Vestsjælland County constituency between 1994 and 2005. Larsen was appointed Commander of the Order of the Dannebrog in 1990.
