Bobby Ljunggren (born 1961) is a Swedish songwriter. He has entered the Eurovision Song Contest as a composer six times, five times for his native Sweden (1995, 1998, 2006, 2008 and 2010), and once for Lithuania, in 2005. He is a veteran of the Melodifestivalen competition, with 50 entries, reaching the milestone of half a century of entries at Melodifestivalen 2020. In Melodifestivalen 2008, he co-wrote both the winning song and the songs placing second and third.

Shirley Natasja Clamp, is a British Swedish pop singer. She has achieved four Top 10 singles in Sweden including a Number 1 with "Med hjärtat fyllt av ljus" in 2009, and three Top 10 albums. She has competed six times in Melodifestivalen between 2003 and 2014, reaching the final twice where she finished second in 2004 and fourth in 2005.

"Kärleken är" is a ballad in Swedish about love. It was written by Ingela Forsman, Bobby Ljunggren and Håkan Almqvist. The song was sung by Swedish pop and country singer Jill Johnson in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1998, where it won and competed for Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998. It finished 10th with 53 points. It was the last Swedish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest sung in Swedish.
"Min kärlek" is the greatest hit and fourth official single from the Swedish pop singer Shirley Clamp. The song, composed by Ingela "Pling" Forsman, Bobby Ljunggren and Henrik Wikström, was one of the entries at the Swedish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, Melodifestivalen 2004, where it came second in the final. The entry in fact failed to make the Melodifestivalen final initially, but was voted through in the 'Second Chance' round. The song won the National Finals Song Contest.
"Little by Little" was the Lithuanian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, performed in English by Laura & The Lovers.
Sanna Viktoria Nielsen is a Swedish singer and television presenter. On her seventh attempt, she won Melodifestivalen in 2014 with the song "Undo" and so represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark, finishing in 3rd place overall. Sanna was one of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 commentators for Sweden and hosted Melodifestivalen 2015 along with comedian Robin Paulsson. She was announced as the new presenter for the sing-along show Allsång på Skansen for the summer of 2016. She hosted Eurovision The Party at the Tele2 Arena for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

Sweden selected its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 by holding an extending national selection, namely Melodifestivalen 2008. A record of 3 489 entries were submitted to the broadcaster SVT, and 28 were chosen to compete. They were completed with 4 wildcards in the end of December. Melodifestivalen was also this year held on Saturdays, starting with the first of the four semi-finals on 9 February and ending with a final on 15 March. It was the last of the year's national selections, as the official ESC draw was held on 17 March. Four songs progressed from each semi, two to the final and two to the second chance round, where the songs were competing in a knock-out round to gain the last two places in the final.

It took part in Melodifestivalen 2016, and qualified to the final from the first semi-final. It placed fifth in the final.
Emma Clara Idun Klingenström is a Swedish singer-songwriter. She started her music career in 2010 and 2015 after winning the Gotland region final of the music competition Musik Direkt.
