Robert Tamale known popularly as Bobby Tamale is a Ugandan film actor and producer. He broke through his acting career through "It Can't Be", a TV drama Airing on WBS TV. He has also starred with his first lead role as Davis in the 2016 Ugandan film The Only Son . He is also the executive producer of the movie. [1] [2] The film was nominated in six categories at the 2016 Uganda Film Festival including Best Screenplay, Best Sound, Best Editing, Film of the Year, Best lead Actor and Best Feature Film. [3] [4] Bobby has also been Executive producer to Tiktok and Love Faces (film) both directed by Usama Mukwaya.

The film was nominated at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards for Best Film in an African Language.

Raymond Rushabiro is a Ugandan film actor, and stage actor. He broke through in his acting career with Uganda's most famous stage group, the Ebonies, appearing in a number of their plays. Rushabiro is also seen in Kweezi Kaganda's Any cow will do alongside former Namasagali old students that was shown at the National Theater of Uganda. His first cinema appearance was as Kasirivu in the movie Bala Bala Sese directed by Lukyamuzi Bashir. He is also appeared in supporting roles in the 2016 Ugandan film The Only Son, Situka (2015) and as a patriarch of the Muwonge family in 5 @Home on Fox Life. Undercover Brothers Ug also simply known as Undercover Brothers are a Ugandan music duo composed of guitarist and vocalist Jay K Mulungi and vocalist Timothy Kirya, whose music career sparked off when they won the auditions and represented Uganda in the sixth season of East Africa's biggest singing competition Tusker Project Fame. Nisha Kalema is a Ugandan multi-award winning actress, producer and writer. She won 3 Best Actress Awards at the Uganda Film Festival Awards in 2015, 2016 and 2018 for her roles as Grace in The Tailor, Amelia in Freedom and Veronica in Veronica's Wish respectively.

Freedom is a 2016 Ugandan drama film set in the pre-NRA war times and details the despicable abuse suffered by an unlucky Amelia at the hands of her adoptive father. The film was produced by Richard Mulindwa and screenplay by both Mulindwa and Nisha Kalema. The Uganda Film Festival Awards also known as UFF Awards, are presented annually to recognize excellence in the film Industry in Uganda. The awards started in 2013 under a Uganda Communications Commission initiative to recognize and develop the Ugandan film industry. Devil's Chest is a 2017 Ugandan war film about the Lord's Resistance Army insurgency in northern Uganda. It was written, produced and directed by Hassan Mageye and stars Hasifah Nande Nakitende and Samuel Rogers Masaaba in the lead roles. It premiered in Gulu in October 2017 and in Kampala in May 2019.
