Biography

"Yeah Yeah", Bodyrox's first commercial single, was released in November 2006 on the Eye Industries label, [1] featuring vocals by Luciana. "Yeah Yeah" reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart, also charting in a number of other countries including the Netherlands, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. "Yeah Yeah" was used during a breakdancing competition in the 2007 Jamie Kennedy film Kickin' It Old Skool .[ citation needed ]

Norman Quentin Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, is an English musician, DJ and record producer who helped to popularise the big beat genre in the 1990s. In the 1980s, Cook was the bassist for the Hull-based indie rock band the Housemartins, who achieved a UK number-one single with their a cappella cover of "Caravan of Love". After the Housemartins split up, Cook formed the electronic band Beats International in Brighton, who produced the number-one single "Dub Be Good to Me". Shad Gregory Moss, better known by his stage name Bow Wow, is an American rapper and actor. His career began upon being discovered by rapper Snoop Dogg in 1993 at the age of six; five years later, he signed with record producer Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, an imprint of Columbia Records. As Lil' Bow Wow, he released his debut studio album, Beware of Dog (2000) at age 13, and his second album, Doggy Bag (2001) the following year. Both met with critical and commercial success, the albums peaked at numbers ten and 11 on the Billboard 200, respectively.

Bow Wow Wow are an English new wave band, created by manager Malcolm McLaren in 1980. McLaren recruited members of Adam and the Ants to form the band with then 13-year-old Annabella Lwin on lead vocals. They released their debut EP Your Cassette Pet in 1980 and had their first UK top 10 hit with "Go Wild in the Country" in 1982. The band's music was characterized by a danceable new wave sound that drew on a Burundi beat provided by Dave Barbarossa on drums, as well as the subversive, suggestive, and sometimes exuberant lyrics sung and chanted by their teenage lead vocalist.

Ramirez, which became the backing for the radio edit, featuring Luciana. Released in October 2006, the song reached number two on the UK Singles Chart, becoming both Bodyrox's and Luciana's highest-charting single. It also charted in several other countries, including Australia, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and the Netherlands. In addition, it topped the UK Dance Singles Chart and peaked at number 15 on the US Billboard Dance Airplay chart in March 2007.

David Barbarossa is an English musician and author. As the drummer in both Adam and the Ants and Bow Wow Wow, he was instrumental in creating the highly influential and innovative tribal drumming style that was popular among British and some American bands from 1979 to 1983.

I Want Candy is an overseas compilation album by English new wave band Bow Wow Wow, released in August 1982 by RCA Records. Side one of the album consists of all four tracks from Bow Wow Wow's EP The Last of the Mohicans, and the band's recent hit "Baby, Oh No"; these tracks were produced by Kenny Laguna of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts fame. Side two consists of four tracks from Bow Wow Wow's debut album See Jungle! See Jungle! Go Join Your Gang Yeah, City All Over! Go Ape Crazy!, and "El Boss Dicho", the B-side to the single "Go Wild in the Country".

Nick Egan is a British visual design artist and director of music videos, commercials and film. He graduated from the Watford College of Art and Design with a DGA in 1976. While attending college, he created cover art for the singles "White Man In Hammersmith Palais" and "Tommy Gun" for The Clash and T-shirt design for the single "Sheena is A Punk Rocker" for The Ramones. His first chart topping album cover was Dexys Midnight Runners' 'Searching For The Young Soul Rebels'. He collaborated with former Sex Pistols manager and fashion entrepreneur Mr. Malcolm McLaren, for whom he designed the album cover for Bow Wow Wow's 'See Jungle'. His longtime partnership with McLaren led the art direction of McLaren's own inventive albums; Duck Rock and 'Fans'. Egan relocated from Britain to New York, where he created cover art for legendary artists like Bob Dylan and Iggy Pop.
