Boliyohuto Football Club (previously known as Persatuan Sepakbola Boliyohuto or PS Boliyohuto) is an Indonesian football club based in Boliyohuto District, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo. They currently compete in the Liga 4 Gorontalo zone.
Boliyohuto Football Club was officially formed on 31 March 2017 with the name SSB Boliyohuto, which is a football academy, but actually this club activities have been going on since 2014, at that time the management had not been formed, it was just a group of amateur players, with the club name PS Boliyohuto. [3] Boliyohuto Football Club focuses primarily on developing youth players, at the U12, U14, and U17 ages. [4]
In the early days of the formation of Boliyohuto Football Club, there were many obstacles faced by club, especially funding issues, for operational costs, payment of trainers' honorariums and others, However, that did not discourage the management. Finally, they met with Subhan Tumolo, the Kreasindo Football Club coach. He agreed not to be paid a penny. [3]
As time goes by, this club continues to grow and the name Boliyohuto still exists in the Gorontalo provincial and national events. Boliyohuto Football Club has twice represented Gorontalo Province at the national level, namely the U12 Menpora Cup in Balikpapan in 2018 and the U17 Soeratin Cup. [3] [5]
Fadly Luneto and Andi Botutihe were the early pioneers in establishing this club, because of the tenacity and perseverance of both of them and the role of the football figures in Boliyohuto, this club can be recognized at the national level, where so far the people only known Boliyohuto with the isolated people who known as Polahi. In the 2024–25 Liga 4 Gorontalo zone, this club participated in the competition. [6] However, the results were not good, they were bottom of the table in 7th place and suffered their biggest defeat 1–15 against Panua GFC on 22 February 2025. [7]
