Bootlegs & G-Sides, Vol. 2 was the fifth album released by rap group, 11/5. It was released on October 31, 2000 for Dogday and was produced by Ant Banks, Funk Daddy and Dush Tray. The album was a sequel to the original Bootlegs & G-Sides, but unlike the original, which featured various accomplished Bay Area rappers, this album featured more independent and unknown rappers.

Earl Stevens, better known by his stage name E-40, is an American rapper, songwriter and actor. He is a founding member of the rap group The Click, and the founder of Sick Wid It Records. "Yeah!" won a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Performance. Lil Jon is also a frequent collaborator with friend and fellow rapper Pitbull. In 2013, Lil Jon collaborated with DJ Snake and released the EDM multi-platinum hit, "Turn Down for What," that won Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Song. The music video for the single, released in 2014, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Music Video, and has been viewed over 900 million times on YouTube as of October 2019. As of 2016, Lil Jon is listed as one of the Top Billboard Music Award Winners of All Time. In 2019, Lil Jon achieved his 8th #1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Chart as a songwriter on the song "My Type" by Oakland rapper Saweetie.

B.G. (rapper) American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor from New Orleans (not to be confused with B.G. Knocc Out)

Christopher Noel Dorsey, better known by his stage name B.G., is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his music career signing to Cash Money Records in 1996. He, Lil Wayne, along with rappers Juvenile and Turk, collectively formed the group, the Hot Boys in 1997. B.G. released several solo albums for Cash Money, including the platinum-selling Chopper City in the Ghetto in 1999. In 2001, he resigned from Cash Money Records and created his own label, Chopper City Records.

Eric Breed, better known as MC Breed, was an American rapper best known for his singles "Ain't No Future in Yo Frontin", which peaked at #66 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Gotta Get Mine", featuring 2Pac, that made it to #6 on the Hot Rap Singles.

Dedrick D'Mon Rolison, better known by his stage name Mack 10, is an American rapper and actor. He has sold nearly 11 million records independently combining his solo and group works. Mack 10 made his first appearance on Ice Cube's 1994 "Bootlegs & B-Sides" compilation on the remixed track "What Can I Do?" and was a member of hip hop supergroup Westside Connection along with WC and Ice Cube. Mack 10 is also the founder of independent record label Hoo-Bangin' Records and got his stage name from the Ingram MAC-10 submachine gun.

"Check Yo Self" is the third single from Ice Cube's third solo album The Predator. It was released in July 1993 and features New York City rappers Das EFX. It topped both the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap charts while also reaching number 20 on the Hot 100 chart. The song retains two main versions, the original and a remix which utilizes the same beat as Grandmaster Flash's "The Message", titled "Check Yo Self ". The original mix includes a sample from the intro of The Beastie Boys' track "The New Style", which uses the phrase "check it" throughout the chorus.

Bootlegs & G-Sides is a compilation album by rap group, 11/5. It was released on August 5, 1997 for Dogday Records and was produced by Premiere Music. The album featured a variety of Bay Area Rappers including JT the Bigga Figga, Guce, Totally Insane and Skanless.
