Ramón Armando Guevara is a former boxer from Venezuela, who twice competed at the Summer Olympics: 1976 and 1980. He won the bronze medal at the 1978 World Amateur Boxing Championships in the light flyweight division.

Eduardo Baltar is a Filipino Olympic boxer. He represented his country in the light-flyweight division at the 1976 Summer Olympics. He lost his first match against Armando Guevara.

Sidney McKnight is a retired boxer from Canada, who represented his native country at the 1976 Summer Olympics. There he was defeated in the first round of the men's light flyweight division by eventual silver medalist Li Byong-Uk from North Korea.

Dietmar Geilich is an East German Olympic boxer. He represented his country in the light-flyweight division at the 1976 Summer Olympics, as well as the 1980 Summer Olympics. He lost his first match against Armando Guevara in 1976. In 1980, he defeated Birender Singh Thapa in his first match, defeated Pedro Manuel Nieves in his second, and then lost to Shamil Sabirov, the eventual gold medalist, in his third bout.

Henryk Średnicki was a Polish amateur boxer who represented his native country twice at the Summer Olympics, starting in 1976.

Payao Poontarat was a Thai boxer who, at the age of 18, won the bronze medal in the men's Light flyweight (-48 kg) category at the 1976 Summer Olympics. He was the first Thai to win an Olympic medal.
