The Salukis defeated No. 10 seed Saint Mary's before falling to No. 2 seed Oklahoma State in the round of 32.

As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament for the second time in school history and first since 2000. As a No. 16 seed in the South region, they lost to Texas A&M–Corpus Christi in the First Four.
