Brad Pascall (born July 29, 1970) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently an assistant general manager with the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL), as well as the general manager of their AHL affiliate: the Calgary Wranglers. [1] Pascall was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the 5th round (103rd overall) of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. [1] Following his retirement as a player, Pascall worked for Hockey Canada for nearly two decades, eventually serving as vice-president of hockey operations. [1]

His wife, Cassie Campbell, captained the Canada women's national ice hockey team to gold medal victories at both the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics. [2] His father, Bernie Pascall, was a sportscaster for the CTV Television Network in the 1970s and '80s and television play-by-play broadcaster for the Vancouver Canucks. [3]

The Atlanta Flames were a professional ice hockey team based in Atlanta from 1972 until 1980. They played home games in the Omni Coliseum and were members of the West and later Patrick divisions of the National Hockey League (NHL). Along with the New York Islanders, the Flames were created in 1971 as part of the NHL's conflict with the rival World Hockey Association (WHA). The team enjoyed modest success on the ice, qualifying for the playoffs in six of its eight seasons, but failed to win a playoff series and won only two post-season games total. Born in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Campbell grew up in Brampton, Ontario, playing for the Brampton Canadettes. She was the captain of the Canadian women's ice hockey team during the 2002 Winter Olympics and led the team to a gold medal. The left winger took on the role of captain again in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, and again successfully led her team to a gold medal with a 4 – 1 win over Sweden.

Byron Brad McCrimmon was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and coach. He played over 1,200 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Flyers, Calgary Flames, Detroit Red Wings, Hartford Whalers and Phoenix Coyotes between 1979 and 1997. He achieved his greatest success in Calgary, where he was named a second team All-Star in 1987–88, played in the 1988 NHL All-Star Game and won the Plus-Minus Award with a league leading total of +48. In 1989, he helped the Flames win their only Stanley Cup championship.
