Brandon Penn (born June 5, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Jászberényi KSE of the Hungarian League. He won the Danish championship with the Bakken Bears in 2014. [1]

Professional career

Penn played in Japan, Denmark and Greece during his career. [2] On January 12, 2018, Penn signed with KR of the Úrvalsdeild karla. [3] He left the club in mid-February due to family issues and did not return. In 5 games, he averaged 12.8 points and 7.0 rebounds. [4] [5]

Úrvalsdeild karla, also known as Bónus deild karla for sponsorship reasons, is the highest men's professional basketball competition among clubs in Iceland, where play determines the national champion. It is organized by the Icelandic Basketball Federation . The season consists of a home-and-away schedule of 22 games, followed by an eight-team playoff round. Quarterfinals, semifinals and finals series are best-of-five. The bottom clubs are relegated, and replaced by the top team from the regular-season phase and the four-team playoff round winner of the second-level First Division.

Melvin Scott is a former North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball guard. He played on the 2004-2005 National Championship Team. He played all four eligible years and was not drafted by the NBA. He played high school basketball at Southern High in Baltimore. He played with KR Basket in Iceland's Úrvalsdeild.
