Brandywine High School is a public secondary school located near Talleys Corner [1] in unincorporated New Castle County, Delaware, with a Wilmington postal address. [2] [3] Although the school is not within the Wilmington city limits, it does serve some parts of the city north of the Brandywine River. [4] It is a part of the Brandywine School District. [2]
There were 940 students enrolled in the fall for the 2020–2021 school year. [2] [5] Rebecca Reggio is the current principal of Brandywine High School. [6]
Brandywine High School was established in 1958. Its building was designed by Wilmington architects Whiteside, Moeckel & Carbonell in the International Style and completed in 1959. [7]
Brandywine is a member of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA). [8] The Bulldogs compete in Flight B of the Blue Hen Conference with a full slate of teams in all three sports seasons: [9]
Brandywine's sports include: cross country, field hockey, football, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, swimming, wrestling, cheerleading, indoor track, baseball, softball, golf, lacrosse, tennis, and track and field. [10]
In 2021, U.S. News & World Report ranked Brandywine #5,392 out of almost 24,000 public schools across the United States [11] and Niche ranked it in the top 50% best public schools for athletes in New Castle County. [12]

Greenville is a bedroom community in New Castle County, Delaware, United States, and a suburb of Wilmington. The population was 2,326 at the 2010 census. For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau has defined Greenville as a census-designated place (CDP). The community is also home to the private residence of Joe Biden, the 46th and current president of the United States, and many Du Pont family descendants.

Brandywine Hundred is an unincorporated subdivision of New Castle County, Delaware, United States. It is located to the north and northeast of the city of Wilmington. Hundreds were once used as a basis for representation in the Delaware General Assembly. Brandywine Hundred and North Wilmington are commonly used colloquial names for this area. However, while their names still appear on all real estate transactions, all other hundreds in Delaware presently have no meaningful use or purpose except as a geographical point of reference.
