Brayden Burries is an American basketball player who currently attends Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, California.

Early life and high school

Burries grew up in Riverside, California and initially attended Riverside Polytechnic High School. [1] He transferred to Eleanor Roosevelt High School after his freshman season. [2] Burries was ineligible to play his sophomore season following the transfer. [3] He averaged 24.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.7 steals per game as a junior. [4] He was selected to play in the 2025 McDonald's All-American Boys Game during his senior year. [5]

Burries is a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2025 class, according to major recruiting services. [6] [7]

Personal life

Burries's father, Bobby, played college basketball at San Bernardino Valley College and Cal State San Bernardino, where he is a member of the school's athletic hall of fame. [8] His mother, Hannah, played college softball at Tennessee and basketball at Cal State San Bernardino for one year as a graduate transfer. [9]

Eleanor Roosevelt High School is a high school located in Eastvale, California. The school opened in 2006. It is one of eight high schools in the Corona-Norco Unified School District and currently the only one located in Eastvale. It also has the eSTEM program, built in 2018.

The 2025 McDonald's All-American Boys Game is an all-star basketball game that will be played on April 1, 2025, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The game's rosters will feature the best and most highly recruited high school boys graduating in the class of 2025. The game will be the 48th annual version of the McDonald's All-American Game first played in 1977. The 24 players were selected from over 700 nominees by a committee of basketball experts. They were chosen not only for their on-court skills, but for their performances off the court as well.
