Braylon Isaiah-Todd Payne (born August 14,2006) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.
Payne attended Elkins High School in Missouri City,Texas. [1] He stole 46 bases as a junior. [2] He batted .531 with three home runs and 32 stolen bases,and broke the school's all-time hit record as a senior. [3] [4] He committed to play college baseball at the University of Houston. [5]
Payne was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers with the 17th overall pick in the 2024 Major League Baseball draft. [6] On July 23,2024,Payne signed with the Brewers on an underslot contract worth $3.44 million. [7]
Darryl Quinn Hamilton was an American professional baseball outfielder who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) between 1988 and 2001 for the Milwaukee Brewers,Texas Rangers,San Francisco Giants,Colorado Rockies,and New York Mets. Hamilton prepped at Louisiana State University Laboratory School in Baton Rouge and then attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux,Louisiana.
