[1] On November 4, 2010, the team announced that Steve Perdue would be their inaugural head coach, as well as a name-the-team contest. [2] On November 22, 2010, it was announced that the franchise would be named the Bricktown Brawlers. [3] On December 16, 2010, the Brawlers announced that former University of Oklahoma quarterback Jason White was added as a co-owner of the team.
