Dennis Havrilla (born August 24, 1987) is an American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Adrenaline of the Indoor Football League (IFL) in 2011. He played college football at Western New Mexico University.

Professional career

Havrilla spent multiple years in the Indoor Football League (IFL), catching on with several teams while playing quarterback, safety and placekicker. In 2014, he began the season with the Dodge City Law before signing with the Arena Football League's Spokane Shock. [1] After three weeks on the Shock's practice squad, Havrilla returned to the Law. Not long after his return to the Law, he was assigned to the San Jose SaberCats, where he appeared as a backup to Nathan Stanley. [2] He was reassigned by the SaberCats on July 10, 2014.

Las Vegas Outlaws

On June 19, 2015, Havrilla was assigned to the Las Vegas Outlaws. He was the backup to J. J. Raterink, but when Raterink was pulled due to his ineffective play, Havrilla was thrust into the game. [3] The following week against the Portland Thunder, Havrilla was named the starting quarterback. He led the Outlaws to a 48-46 victory, where he scored the game-winning touchdown on a one-yard rush. [4] On August 3, 2015, Havrilla was placed on reassignment, one week before the season ended.

Cleveland Gladiators

On February 5, 2016, Havrilla was assigned to the Cleveland Gladiators. After Chris Dieker was injured in Week 1 of the 2016 season, Havrilla became the starting quarterback. However, he also later suffered an injury and Arvell Nelson replaced him as the starter. [5]

High Country Grizzlies

On June 1, 2017, Havrilla signed with the High Country Grizzlies. He played in one game for the Grizzlies, completing 16 of 37 passes for 282 yards, 5 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. [6]

Grieb currently serves as the head coach of the Sacred Heart Prep Gators football team in Atherton, California. He was a 13-year veteran of the AFL, having played quarterback for the Anaheim Piranhas (1997) and San Jose SaberCats. Grieb also played in NFL Europe for the Scottish Claymores (1998) and in the XFL with the Las Vegas Outlaws (2001). Grieb is the second quarterback in AFL history to throw for over 47,000 yards, over 900 touchdowns, over 3,800 completions, and over 10,000 pass attempts. He officially retired on November 8, 2012. Shane Austin is an American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. He played college football at University of Hawai'i. Austin went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft and signed with the Everett Raptors of the Indoor Football League (IFL) after the draft. After starting the Raptors final games of the season, Austin was able to gain the attention of the Pittsburgh Power of the AFL. Austin was named the starting quarterback for the Power, but a broken hand caused him to miss two months of the season. Austin then was assigned to the Cleveland Gladiators where he was named the backup to Chris Dieker. With Dieker struggling for the Gladiators, Austin was given the opportunity to start and lead the Gladiators to a 14–1 record as a starter and a berth in ArenaBowl XXVII. The 2015 Las Vegas Outlaws season was the first and only season for the expansion franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Aaron Garcia and played their home games at Thomas & Mack Center. The Outlaws finished their inaugural season 5–12–1, with the tie being a cancelled home game against the VooDoo. Though they qualified for the playoffs, the league announced on August 9 that the Outlaws would cease operations effective immediately, and would therefore not participate in the playoffs.

Scott Wood is a former American football quarterback who played five seasons with the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League (AFL). He played college football at Saint Mary's College of California.

The 2015 San Jose SaberCats season was the team's 19th in San Jose, California. The team was coached by Darren Arbet and played their home games at the SAP Center at San Jose. They finished first in the Pacific Division with a 17–1 regular season record and went on to defeat the Jacksonville Sharks 68–47 in ArenaBowl XXVIII.

The 2015 Spokane Shock season was the tenth season for the arena football franchise, and the sixth in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Andy Olson and played their home games at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. The Shock finished with a 7–11 record, but finished second in the Pacific division for a second straight year and once again qualified for the playoffs.
