Alphaville is a German synth-pop band formed in Münster in 1982. They gained popularity in the 1980s. The group was founded by singers Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd, and Frank Mertens. They achieved chart success with the singles "Forever Young", "Big in Japan", "Sounds Like a Melody", "The Jet Set" and "Dance with Me". Gold remains the only continuous member of Alphaville.

Help: A Day in the Life is a 2005 compilation album of music by contemporary artists from Britain and Canada. It was produced by the UK charity War Child to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their previous release, The Help Album, and to raise money to fund the charity's efforts in war-torn countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina. The name is a conglomeration of the titles of two Beatles songs, "Help!" and "A Day in the Life". On Wednesday 14 September 2005, five days after its release, it broke the record for the fastest-selling download album ever.

"Given Up" is a song by American rock band Linkin Park. The song was released as the fourth single from their third studio album, Minutes to Midnight. It was released on February 17, 2008 in the UK as a digital download. The song was not as much of a success as what was expected in the US, although it did manage to chart high on the Alternative Songs music chart. Bennington's ability to hold a note for 17 seconds (2:27-2:44) is considered the highlight of the song.
"Lucid Dreams" is a song by Scottish indie rock band Franz Ferdinand. It was originally released as a digital download single on 19 August 2008. No Nations is the second album by the Canadian alternative rock band Jets Overhead. The album was released June 2, 2009 in Canada, with later release dates in the United States and worldwide. The band chose not to use the voluntary purchase model as they previously used for Bridges. However, the title track, "No Nations", was released as a free download under a Creative Commons license, as were the instrumental versions of all of the album's tracks.

The album was released on June 26, 2007 and contains demo versions of a number of tracks from the group's first album, Bridges, remixes of two songs from the Jets Overhead EP, as well as two b-sides.
The Bridge is the debut album of Canadian R&B/soul singer Melanie Fiona, released under the SRC/Universal Motown label in June 2009. It was released in the United States on November 10, 2009. The album debuted at number four on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and at number 57 on the Billboard 200 chart, where it later peaked at number 27. The album received generally favorable reviews. As of February 2012, the album has sold 450,000 copies in the United States.
"Life After You" is a song by American rock band Daughtry, released as the second single from their second album, Leave This Town (2009). Chris Daughtry wrote the song with Nickelback vocalist Chad Kroeger and producer Joey Moi. Two versions of the original version exist: an album version and a music video version with the crowd cheering at the end. "Life After You" received positive reviews from music critics and was a success in most of the charts. It was also featured as the soundtrack of the 2013 animated film Alpha and Omega 2: A Howl-iday Adventure.

Live At Sasquatch Festival 2010 is a live album by Canadian alternative rock band Jets Overhead. The album was released on May 3, 2011 and contains live recordings of the 2010 Sasquatch Festival. The album includes songs that appeared on Jets Overhead’s self-titled EP, Bridges, and No Nations.
Bystander is a six track extended play by Canadian alternative rock band Jets Overhead. It was released on March 8, 2011 and was produced with Neil Osborne of 54-40. The EP is currently only available as a digital download. The songs on Bystander were originally recorded at the same time as No Nations, but were not included in No Nations because of stylistic difference.
Karmin was an American pop duo consisting of Amy Renee Noonan and Nick Noonan. Starting as a novelty act that released covers on YouTube, they signed in 2011 with Epic Records. In May 2012, Karmin released their debut EP Hello, which spawned the singles "Brokenhearted" and "Hello", and received mixed reviews. Rolling Stone named Karmin's lead singer Amy as the winner of "Women Who Rock" 2012 contests. In March 2014, the duo released their debut album, Pulses. The album's lead single, "Acapella", charted in the top 10 in Australia and New Zealand, and went Gold in the United States. They left Epic Records in the middle of 2014 and have since released music independently. Their second album Leo Rising was released on September 9, 2016.
Green is the sixth studio album by American rock band R.E.M., released on November 7, 1988 by Warner Bros. Records. The second album to be produced by the band and Scott Litt, it continued to explore political issues both in its lyrics and packaging. The band experimented on the album, writing major-key rock songs and incorporating new instruments into their sound including the mandolin, as well as switching their original instruments on other songs.
Margaret Debay Rogers is an American singer-songwriter and record producer from Easton, Maryland. Her big break came when her song "Alaska" was played to Pharrell Williams during a master class at New York University's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. She was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2019. She graduated from Harvard Divinity School in May 2022.
Hong Da-bin, better known by his stage name DPR Live, is a South Korean rapper and singer. Along with Ian, Cream, and REM, Hong co-founded the label Dream Perfect Regime—all of whom attach the label's acronym "DPR" to their names. He released his debut EP, Coming to You Live, on March 15, 2017. He then released his second EP Her on December 7, 2017, followed by his debut studio album Is Anybody Out There? on March 3, 2020. His third EP Iite Cool was released on July 23, 2021.
