Remixes 81–04 is an album by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 25 October 2004. It was the band's first release since Daniel Miller's independent label Mute Records was acquired by industry major EMI in 2002. It features well-known remixes from the band's back catalog as well as previously unavailable mixes.
"Song to Say Goodbye" is a song by English alternative rock band Placebo from their fifth studio album, Meds (2006). It was released on 6 March 2006 as the album's second single. It was written by Steve Hewitt, Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, and produced by Dimitri Tikovoi. The first single, "Because I Want You" was only released in the United Kingdom, so elsewhere, "Song to Say Goodbye" is considered the first single from Meds. The song develops around piano notes that repeat throughout it. The song deals with heroin addiction and its influence on the relationships of the parties involved.
"He Was Really Sayin' Somethin' is a soul song written by Motown songwriters Norman Whitfield, William "Mickey" Stevenson, and Edward Holland, Jr. in 1964. The song is notable in both a 1964 version by American Motown girl group the Velvelettes, and a 1982 hit version by British girl group Bananarama.
"Ashtray Heart" is the third official single from Placebo's sixth studio album, Battle for the Sun. It was released in all of Europe, except for the United Kingdom and Norway, with "The Never-Ending Why" being released in these two countries a week prior.
"Sleeping with Ghosts" is the title cut from Placebo's fourth album, Sleeping with Ghosts. The song is a depiction of how, "Soulmates never die", or in more simple terms, how true friendships/relationships never end, linking it with the album's concept of relationships. The song's composition is softer compared to the other songs of the album, it features lighter, slower guitar and more piano than other titles. The chorus line, "Soulmates never die", was used as the title for the live DVD, Soulmates Never Die . The song was re-recorded as a B-side for the single "This Picture" and called simply "Soulmates". "Soulmates" is a slightly heavier attempt than the album version and is often played live. There is a piano version of the song on the bonus disc of the Battle for the Sun redux version.
"Special K" is a single by British alternative rock band Placebo, released on 19 March 2001 on CD and 12" vinyl, taken from their third album, Black Market Music. The title is slang for Ketamine, and the song itself is supposed to explore "the link between drugs and love," and "Special K" is uppers and the rush of falling in love."

"Grace" is a pop song recorded by British singer Will Young and is the second single from his fourth studio album, Let It Go. The song was released on 22 December 2008, and performed on The X Factor on 8 November 2008, and subsequently on Children in Need 2008. The song can be heard accompanying NatWest adverts and was also featured during the Top Gear: Bolivia Special.
"Perfect Day" is the fifth and final single released from Cascada's second album Perfect Day. "Perfect Day" was released in the United States as a CD Maxi Single on 3 March 2009 and on 17 February 2009 on iTunes.
It was also released as a download in certain European countries on 13 February 2010, almost a year after the United States release.
Battle for the Sun is the sixth studio album by English alternative rock band Placebo. It was recorded in Canada in 2008 and released on 8 June 2009 by record label PIAS. It is their first album with new drummer Steve Forrest, following the departure of Steve Hewitt in 2007.
"Love Comes" is a song recorded by British girl group Bananarama. It was released on 6 September 2009 as the lead single from their tenth studio album Viva.

"Bright Lights Bigger City" is the fourth single from American soul singer CeeLo Green's third studio album, The Lady Killer. The song was produced by Ben H. Allen, co-produced by Graham Marsh, and written by Cee Lo, Tony Reyes and Ben H. Allen III. The single was released on March 27, 2011, topping the charts in Israel and peaking at number thirteen in the United Kingdom. A remix of the track features a guest rap from American rapper Wiz Khalifa. The song, which is featured in the film Monte Carlo, samples "You Only Live Twice" from the James Bond film of the same name.
We Come in Pieces is the second live DVD by the alternative rock band Placebo. It was announced on 24 August 2011 and released on 31 October 2011. It was recorded during a Placebo concert in Brixton Academy, London, on 28 September 2010, the final show of the Battle for the Sun Tour. The live performance includes 20 songs, 15 of which were exclusive to that DVD.
"Anyway" is the seventh official single and first single from The Platinum Edition of American soul singer CeeLo Green's third studio album, The Lady Killer. The single was released via digital download on December 11, 2011. The lyric video for the song was premiered on November 8, 2011 through Cee Lo Green's official YouTube channel.
"Too Many Friends" is a single by alternative rock band Placebo, the first single off of their seventh studio album Loud Like Love. The single was released on 8 July 2013, as a digital download but was actually released on 23 August 2013 in physical format as a limited edition CD and 7" single in Germany. The song deals with people on the internet and being far more close to friends on the internet, rather than off the computer. It is also about loneliness, which Placebo frontman Brian Molko said was the "modern version of, 'I’m sitting by the phone, waiting for you to call.'"
"Should Be Higher" is a song by the English electronic band Depeche Mode from their thirteenth studio album, Delta Machine. The song was written by Dave Gahan and Kurt Uenala. It was released as the album's third single on 11 October 2013 in Germany, and 14 October 2013 in the UK and France. The release date for North America was 15 October 2013. It's the third Depeche Mode single co-written by lead singer Dave Gahan.
A Place for Us to Dream is a compilation album by the English alternative rock band Placebo. It was released on 7 October 2016, as part of the band's twentieth anniversary celebrations. It consists of 36 tracks, including songs off albums, single versions, radio edits, live performances and redux editions of previously released songs, as well as the 2016 single "Jesus' Son". The compilation includes all Placebo songs that have been released as singles, apart from "Burger Queen Français", "Twenty Years" and "The Never-Ending Why".
"Where's the Revolution" is a song by English electronic band Depeche Mode from their fourteenth studio album Spirit. It was released as the album's first single on 3 February 2017, on the 20th anniversary of "Barrel of a Gun". The cover art was designed by Anton Corbijn. The single was premiered on the Polish radio Trójka - Polskie Radio Program III at midnight on 3 February.
"Angel" is a song by American singer Lionel Richie. It was written by Richie, Paul Barry, and Mark Taylor for his sixth studio album Renaissance (2000), while production was helmed by Brian Rawling and Taylor. Island Def Jam released "Angel" as the album's lead single in October 2000. Richie's highest-charting success in years, it reached the top ten in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, and on the US Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, while peaking at number 18 on the UK Singles Chart.
