Brinda Sarathy is an Indian film director, screenwriter, dialogue writer and Poet.
Brindha Sarathy started his film career by working as an associate director and dialogue writer to N. Linguswamy in his debut film Aanandham . [2] However, he didn't work together with Linguswamy again in the latter's subsequent films, but turned an independent director. [3] He went on to remake the 2001 Telugu film Manasantha Nuvve into his directional Tamil debut Thithikudhe (2003). The film starred Jiiva and Sridevi Vijaykumar in the main lead roles, with Shrutika in a main supporting role. It was a moderate success at the box office.[ citation needed ]
He then had planned to shoot his next film after, again featuring Jiiva in the lead, which, however got shelved for unknown reasons and didn't take off again. [4] After a long hiatus, he again joined Linguswamy as a dialogue writer for the romantic-action film Paiyaa in 2010.

Run is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by N. Linguswamy and produced by A. M. Rathnam under Sri Surya Movies. It stars Madhavan and Meera Jasmine, alongside Vivek, Atul Kulkarni, Raghuvaran and Anu Hasan. The music was composed by Vidyasagar, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Jeeva and V. Jiiva and Bhavana play lead roles while Lal, Bose Venkat and Manivannan play supporting roles. The shooting of the film finished in September 2007, with shooting locations were canned in India and in Sri Lanka, for the picturization of a portion. The film released worldwide on 30 November 2007 and met with mixed reviews and did not do very well commercially.

This film is the Tamil remake of the 2001 Telugu film Manasantha Nuvve. It tells the story of two childhood friends and how they reunite some time later. The film released on 1 August 2003.

Naan Mahaan Alla is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Suseenthiran and produced by Studio Green. It stars Karthi, Kajal Aggarwal, Jayaprakash and Soori. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja with cinematography handled by R. Madhi and editing by Kasi Viswanathan. Set in Chennai, Jeeva is an unemployed carefree young man whose father becomes the target of a gang of young criminals after witnessing a kidnapping.
Thenavattu (transl. Courage) is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by V. V. Kathir, starring Jiiva and Poonam Bajwa, with Ganja Karuppu, Ravi Kale, Shafi, Saikumar, and Rajan P. Dev in supporting roles. The music of the film was composed by Srikanth Deva. The film was released on 21 November 2008 and received highly negative reviews from critics. It was a commercial failure in metros but performed well at B and C-centers, or lower class theatres.

Rowthiram (transl. Fury) is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language martial arts film written and directed by newcomer Gokul. Produced by R. B. Choudary, the film stars his son Jiiva and Shriya Saran, with Sentrayan, Jayaprakash and Lakshmy Ramakrishnan appearing in supporting roles. It released on 12 August 2011.
Vettai (transl. Hunt) is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film co-produced, written and directed by N. Linguswamy. The film stars Arya and R. Madhavan in the lead roles, while Sameera Reddy, Amala Paul, Ashutosh Rana, Nassar and Thambi Ramaiah appear in supporting roles. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and cinematography and editing handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony.
Neethaane En Ponvasantham is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film co written, co produced and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, starring Jiiva and Samantha. This film is shot simultaneously in Telugu, Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, with Nani replacing Jiiva, while the team also briefly filmed an incomplete Hindi version with Aditya Roy Kapoor, with Samantha playing the leading female role in all three versions. The film is based on a story written by Reshma Ghatala, who produced the film alongside Elred Kumar, Venkat Somasundaram and Menon. The cinematography was handled by M. S. Prabhu and Om Prakash. The film's background score and soundtrack were composed by Ilaiyaraaja which went on to become a chartbuster, and the soundtrack album sold a record 8.5 million units through various platforms on its release.
Yaan (transl. Me) is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written, directed and filmed by Ravi K. Chandran. It stars Jiiva and Thulasi Nair. This was the second and final Tamil film of leading actress, Thulasi as the latter further quoted of unable to enjoy the deeds of acting. As it never appealed to her taste. The film's soundtrack and score was composed by Harris Jayaraj, while editing and art direction were done by A. Sreekar Prasad and Sabu Cyril, respectively. Resul Pookutty was in charge of the sound mixing and Brinda was in charge of the choreography. The movie was reported to be based on the 1978 movie Midnight Express.
Jeeva is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language sports film written and directed by Suseenthiran, who also produces the film along with cinematographer R. Madhi and art director Rajeevan under the banner of Vennila Kabadi Team. The film stars Vishnu and Sri Divya, while Soori and Lakshman Narayan plays supporting roles. Its music was composed by D. Imman, cinematography was handled by R. Madhi and editing was by Anthony L. Ruben, while dialogue was written by Santhosh. This film is about a young aspiring cricketer who dreams of playing for the India national cricket team. The film opened to positive reviews from critics on 27 September 2014 and become a successful venture at the box office.
