The Rising is the twelfth studio album by American recording artist Bruce Springsteen, released on July 30, 2002, on Columbia Records. An immediate critical and commercial success, it was Springsteen's first to top the US Billboard 200 since Tunnel of Love (1987). Hailed as a triumphant return to form for Springsteen, the album won two Grammy awards and marked the start of a successful collaboration with producer Brendan O'Brien. The Rising came seven years after The Ghost of Tom Joad (1995), the longest interlude between studio albums for the artist, and was his first in almost two decades with the E Street Band, with whom he had recently completed a highly successful reunion tour. The album is based in large part on Springsteen's reflections in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.
Gov't Mule is an American Southern rock jam band, formed in 1994 as a side project of the Allman Brothers Band by guitarist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody. Fans often refer to Gov't Mule simply as Mule.

Dark Side of the Mule is a live album by Gov't Mule composed of covers of Pink Floyd songs. The album was recorded in 2008 during a three-hour gig at Boston's Orpheum Theatre on Halloween night. The title is a pun on The Dark Side of the Moon, the 1973 Pink Floyd album. One of the background singers, Durga McBroom, also toured with Pink Floyd and appears on their two most recent albums.

Bob Dylan – The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings is a box set of 1975 live recordings by Bob Dylan, released on June 7, 2019. For this tour, Dylan assembled a loose collective of a backing band called Guam and played across North America for several dozen shows. The tie-in Netflix documentary film Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese was released the following week. A similar compilation was released in 2002 entitled Bob Dylan Live 1975, The Rolling Thunder Revue, as part of Dylan's ongoing Bootleg Series. That compilation was re-released on vinyl as a companion to the later release.

A Love Supreme: Live in Seattle is a live album by American saxophonist John Coltrane, released on October 22, 2021, through Impulse! Records. It was recorded on October 2, 1965, at the Seattle jazz club The Penthouse, by saxophonist Joe Brazil. The tapes were found five years after Brazil's death in October 2008 by the saxophonist Steve Griggs. It is one of only two recorded live performances of Coltrane's 1965 album A Love Supreme, the other being a July 1965 recording from the Jazz à Juan jazz festival in Juan-les-Pins, Antibes, France, which was released in 2002 as part of the deluxe edition of A Love Supreme.

It was recorded on December 31, 2006, at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. The album was released in a 12-track standard edition and a 34-track deluxe edition, with the standard edition featuring a reggae set led by Jamaican singer Toots Hibbert singing his own songs as well as several covers, including a version of Radiohead's "Let Down" and Gov't Mule's "Soulshine".
The Tel-Star Sessions is a demo album by American band Gov't Mule, released on August 5, 2016, through Evil Teen Records. It includes their 1994 demos recorded at Tel-Star Studios in Bradenton, Florida, with Bud Snyder serving as engineer. Seven of the 10 tracks were re-recorded for the band's debut album, 1995's Gov't Mule.
Stoned Side of the Mule Vol. 1 & 2 is a live cover album by American band Gov't Mule, released on April 17, 2015, through Mascot Label Group in Europe and Evil Teen Records in the US. It consists of covers of the Rolling Stones, performed during Gov't Mule's Stones-themed Halloween show at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania on October 31, 2009. Initially released only on vinyl, it was released digitally and on CD in May 2022.
