The Hook and Ladder House No. 5 is the second oldest surviving fire station in Detroit, was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1975 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
Cumberland station is a historic railway station in Cumberland, Allegany County, Maryland. It was built in 1913 as a stop for the Western Maryland Railway (WM). The building was operated as a passenger station until the WM ended service in 1959, and it continued to be used by the railway until 1976. It was subsequently restored and currently serves as a museum and offices, as well as the operating base for a heritage railway.

A nonprofit institution 501 (C) (3), it consists of an 11,000-square-foot (1,000 m2) facility housing four galleries that explore the history of firefighting in Denver. Established in 1978, it is located in the 1909-built former Fire Station No. 1, a building that is a Denver Landmark and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Bristow Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA). The church was organized on October 21, 1917. The church building was erected in 1922 and added to the National Historic Register in 1979. The exterior walls are white marble from Carthage, Missouri, and interior walls are Bedford stone. Featuring Tiffany stained glass windows and a beautiful organ, the Sanctuary has been described as a pocket cathedral. It is located at the corner of West 6th and Elm in Bristow, Oklahoma.

The Allen Tire Company and Gas Station is an historic former automotive service facility at 228 1st Street SW in Prescott, Arkansas. It is a single-story Craftsman style structure that was built in 1924. Its main architectural features are a variety of arches, which flank the ends and street face of the carport, as well as the doorway into the office. Additional Craftsman features include exposed rafter ends and three-over-one windows. The building acted as a service station into the 1940s, and has seen a variety of other commercial and retail uses since then.
The Pioneer Oil Company Filling Station is a historic building located in Grinnell, Iowa, United States. The northern half of the building dates back to the 1920s when it was associated with a local farmers' cooperative. One of the services they provided was selling gasoline. The building was expanded in 1931 into a more traditional filling station as selling fuel became a more prominent part of the operation. The building attained its present appearance in 1937 when the service bays and the decorative brick veneer were added. It retained its original name, "Pioneer Oil Company," throughout its time as a service station even though it became affiliated with Mobilgas in 1936. That affiliation ended in 1962. During World War II it became a tire inspection center under the wartime tire rationing program. The service station ceased operations around 2004. The building was re-purposed into the Mobil Wash and Wax, an automotive detailing business located in the service bays, and the Candyland Cafe in the northern portion of the building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
The Des Moines Fire Department Headquarters' Fire Station No. 1 and Shop Building are historic buildings located in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, United States. Completed in 1937, the facility provided a unified campus for the fire department's administration, citywide dispatch, training, maintenance, as well as the increased need for fire protective services in the commercial and warehouse districts in which the complex is located. It was designed by the Des Moines architectural firm of Proudfoot, Rawson, Brooks and Borg, and built by local contractor F.B. Dickinson & Co. The project provided jobs for local residents during the Great Depression, and 45% of its funding was provided by the Public Works Administration (PWA). The City of Des Moines provided the rest of the funds. The radio tower, which shares the historic designation with the building, was used to dispatch fire personnel from 1958 to 1978. The buildings were used by the local fire department from 1937 to 2013. It was replaced by two different facilities. The old fire station and shop building was acquired by the Des Moines Social Club, a nonprofit arts organization.
Master Service Station, also known as Bennett's Tire & Battery Co., is a historic building located in Waterloo, Iowa, United States. This was one of the first "super service stations" built in the city. Developed in California in the early 1920s, they combined a filling station with other auto-related services. The first one was built in Waterloo in 1928, and this was one of three that opened in 1930. Located on a corner lot, it is a single-story structure that follows an L-shaped plan. The building exhibits both Art Deco (piers) and Spanish Colonial Revival. Its original owner, Homer L. Lichty, lost the business to bankruptcy in 1932. The station was acquired by John G. Miller, who constructed the building. Miller sold the station in 1934. Bennett's Tire & Brake Co., a Waterloo Goodyear tire dealer, moved in sometime after that and remained until 1960. The Waterloo Convention & Visitors Bureau is now located in the building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
The Copeland & Tracht Service Station, in recent years Grandpa Sal's Tires, is located at 1702 W. Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona and was built in 1935. It was originally the J.J. Fitzgibbon Service Station.

The Texaco Service Station, at 201 W. 4th Ave. in Bristow, Oklahoma, was built in 1923. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
The Royal Tire Service Inc. Building, at 3229 Washington Ave. in St. Louis, Missouri, was built in 1929. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
