Sam Bolton was aged 16 years and 98 days when he jumped 134.50m, making him the youngest person to hold the record.

The current record holder is Mani Cooper, whose longest jump is 77m at the FIS Alpen Cup in Seefeld, Austria, December 2020. [14] Cooper competes in the Nordic Combined discipline.

Nordic combined is a winter sport in which athletes compete in cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The Nordic combined at the Winter Olympics has been held since the first ever Winter Olympics in 1924, while the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup has been held since 1983. Many Nordic combined competitions use the Gundersen method, where placement in the ski jumping segment results in time (dis)advantages added to the contestant's total in the cross-country skiing segment.

Thomas Morgenstern Austrian ski jumper

Thomas Morgenstern is an Austrian former ski jumper who competed from 2002 to 2014. He is one of the most successful contemporary athletes in ski jumping, having won the World Cup overall title twice, the Four Hills Tournament and the Nordic Tournament once each, eight World Championship gold medals, and three Winter Olympic gold medals.

FIS Ski Jumping World Cup

The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup is the world's highest level of ski jumping and the FIS Ski Flying World Cup as the subdivisional part of the competition. It was founded by Torbjørn Yggeseth for the 1979/80 season and organized by the International Ski Federation. Women began competing during the 2011/12 season.

The FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup is a series of ski jumping competitions arranged yearly by the International Ski Federation. It is considered the second level of international ski jumping, ranking below the World Cup and not counting Grand Prix which world top class summer competition. Athletes competing in the Continental Cup are usually juniors and jumpers fighting for a spot on their nation's World Cup team. Some jumpers alternate between the World Cup and the Continental Cup and therefore, the winner of the Continental Cup is not necessarily the best jumper.

Piotr Żyła Polish ski jumper

Piotr Paweł Żyła is a Polish ski jumper. He is a member of the national team and competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. He is the 2021 World Champion on the normal hill, a bronze medalist of 2017 World Championships in individual large hill event, 2017 World Champion and a two-time World Championship bronze medalist and in the team large hill event, also the two time Ski Flying World Championships bronze medalist in team.

The FIS Cup is a series of ski jumping competitions arranged yearly by the International Ski Federation. It is considered the third level of international ski jumping, ranking below the World Cup and the Continental Cup. Most of the events are held on normal hills, with a construction point of 90 meters. Jumpers rarely compete the entire season in the FIS Cup. If a jumper performs well in the FIS Cup, he is often moved up to the Continental Cup. Men's circuit was introduced in 2005/06 and women started their first season in 2012/13

Tremplin du Praz Ski jumping hill at Le Praz, France

Tremplin du Praz is a ski jumping hill at Le Praz in Courchevel, France. The complex consists of four hills: a large hill with construction point of K125 (HS137), a normal hill at K90 (HS96), and two training hills at K60 and K25. The complex also has a cross-country skiing stadium used for Nordic combined. Jörg Ritzerfeld holds the large hill winter record of 134.0 metres and Nicolas Mayer the normal hill record of 100.5 metres.

Evgenii Klimov Russian ski jumper

Evgenii Dmitriyevich Klimov is a Russian ski jumper and a former Nordic combined skier. He is the first Russian in history who won an individual ski jumping World Cup event for men. He also took the Grand Prix 2018 overall title in ski jumping. He also has the national record for the longest ski jump with 237m. At the 2022 Olympics, he was part of the mixed team which won the silver medal.

The "Giuseppe Dal Ben" Ski Jumping Arena is a ski jumping venue in Predazzo, Val di Fiemme, Trentino, in northern Italy. It is a venue in the FIS Ski jumping World Cup.

Junshirō Kobayashi Japanese ski jumper

Junshirō Kobayashi is a Japanese ski jumper. He is the older brother of Yūka Kobayashi, Ryōyū Kobayashi and Tatsunao Kobayashi who are also ski jumpers.

Mani Cooper is Britain's first female Olympic ski jumper.

The 2020 FIS Ski Jumping Grand Prix was the 27th Summer Grand Prix season in ski jumping for men and the 9th for ladies. On July 31, the International Ski Federation announced the decision that due to the cancellation of most competitions in the series, no prize will be awarded to the winner of the general classification.

Gyda Westvold Hansen Norwegian Nordic combined skier

Gyda Westvold Hansen is a Norwegian Nordic combined skier who represents IL Nansen. She became the first ever World Champion in women's Nordic combined after winning the gold medal in the inaugural World Championship race, individual normal hill/5 km, at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2021. She is the 2021 World Junior Champion in individual normal hill and won the silver medal at the same event in 2019 and 2020. Westvold Hansen was also a member of the Norwegian team that took the gold medal in the mixed team normal hill competition at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics.

Joséphine Pagnier French ski jumper

Joséphine Pagnier is a French ski jumper, who won two medals at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics, and won the French national championship in 2019 and 2020. She competed in the normal hill event at the 2022 Winter Olympics, and came third at a 2021–22 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup event in Aigner-Schanze.
