Brittany Hochevar (born May 26, 1981) is an American female volleyball and beach volleyball player.
Her hometown is Fowler, Colorado. She was part of the United States women's national volleyball team, playing as an opposite hitter and setter. She participated in the 2004 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup. [1] [2]
As a beach volleyball player, she plays as a defender. [3] She played together with Lisa Rutledge in 2011 and with Lauren Fendrick in 2013. Hochevar and Fendrick were eliminated in the quarter-final at the 2013 Beach Volleyball World Championships. [4]
Misty Elizabeth May-Treanor is a retired American professional beach volleyball player. She is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, and as of August 2012, was the most successful female beach volleyball player having won 112 tournaments in domestic and international competition.
Charles Frederick "Karch" Kiraly is an American volleyball player, coach, and broadcast announcer. He was a central part of the U.S National Team that won gold medals at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games. He went on to win the gold medal again at the 1996 Olympic Games, the first Olympic competition to feature beach volleyball. He is the only player to have won Olympic medals of any color in both the indoor and beach volleyball categories. He played college volleyball for the UCLA Bruins, where his teams won three national championships under head coach Al Scates. Kiraly is widely regarded as the greatest male volleyball player of all time.
Bibiana Candelas Ramírez is a 6'5" (195 cm) female beach volleyball and indoor volleyball player who represented her native country, Mexico, at the 2008 Olympics with her beach partner, Mayra García.
Nicole Christine Branagh is an American volleyball player. She has represented the United States in international competition as a member of both the indoor and beach national teams. With partner Elaine Youngs, Branagh competed in the beach volleyball tournament at the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth. Kathy Gregory is an American retired volleyball coach. Upon her retirement as the University of California, Santa Barbara's only women's volleyball head coach, after 38 seasons she amassed 882 wins, the fifth most in NCAA Division I history. As a player, Gregory represented the United States at the 1970 World Games and the 1971 Pan American Games and she was also the captain of the professional San Diego Breakers. In 1989, Gregory was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame.
