Brunei and Vietnam established diplomatic relations in 1992. Brunei has an embassy in Hanoi, and Vietnam has an embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan. [1] Relations between the two countries have always been friendly especially in political field. [2]
Relations between the two countries has been established since 29 February 1992. [1] In 1998, His Majesty Hassanal Bolkiah paid an official visit to Vietnam while in 2001, President Tran Duc Luong paid an official visit to Brunei. [2]
Several agreements such as agreement on aviation has been signed by both countries. [1] [3] The two-way trade volume reached about U$1.5–2 million per year. [2] In 2005, the trade volume was U$4.5 million. By the end of June 2007, Brunei had 37 investment projects in Vietnam with a total capital of U$125.8 million, ranking 29th among 74 countries and territories investing in Vietnam. [2] While in 2012, Brunei now ranks 12th among 94 foreign investors in Vietnam with US$48.5 billion poured into 124 projects. [4] Brunei also annually grants Vietnamese in many scholarships for training in the fields of oil and gas engineering and English courses. [2]
There is also co-operation between the two navies of both countries in maintaining peace, stability and maritime security in the region. [5]
Brunei joined ASEAN on 7 January 1984, one week after resuming full independence, and gives its ASEAN membership the highest priority in its foreign relations. Brunei joined the United Nations in September 1984. It is also a member of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum and the Commonwealth of Nations. Brunei hosted the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in November 2000. In 2005 it attended the inaugural East Asia Summit.
Germany–Malaysia relations are the foreign relations between Germany and Malaysia. Germany has an embassy in Kuala Lumpur, and Malaysia has an embassy in Berlin.

Denmark–India relations, also referred to as Danish-Indian relations, are the bilateral relations between Denmark and India. Denmark has an embassy in New Delhi, and India has an embassy in Copenhagen. About 15,595 NRIs reside in Denmark.
The diplomatic relationship between Pakistan and Brunei is very warm and friendly, primarily because both are Muslim countries and members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. As the two countries are fellow members of the Commonwealth, Pakistan maintains a High Commission in Bandar Seri Begawan, and Brunei has a High Commission in Islamabad. To further foster ties between the two countries, the Brunei-Pakistan Friendship Association (BPFA) was created in 2008.
Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia established diplomatic relations in 1984. Since then, both country enjoys warm and friendly relations. Brunei has an embassy in Jakarta, while Indonesia has an embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan. Indonesia and Brunei don't share direct land borders. Since diplomatic relations were established back in 1984, Overall relations between the two countries were progressing well and that both sides continued to enjoy strong ties in a wide spectrum of co-operations; including trade and investment, tourism, agriculture, marine and fisheries, health, defence, transnational crimes, education, youth, culture and people-to-people contacts.
Malaysia–Nepal relations refers to bilateral foreign relations between Malaysia and Nepal. Malaysia has an embassy in Kathmandu, and Nepal has an embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysia–Uganda relations refers to bilateral foreign relations between Malaysia and Uganda. Malaysia does not have a High Commission in Uganda while Uganda has a High Commission in Kuala Lumpur and were also accredited to Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Lao PDR, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Brunei and Cambodia established diplomatic relations in 1992. Brunei has an embassy in Phnom Penh, and Cambodia has an embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan. Both countries co-operate in trade, education and defence.
Brunei and Laos established diplomatic relations in 1993. Brunei has an embassy in Vientiane, and Laos has an embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan. Both countries co-operate in trade, education and defence.
Brunei and Singapore established diplomatic relations in 1984. Brunei has a high commission in Singapore, and Singapore has a high commission in Bandar Seri Begawan. Brunei and Singapore have close and friendly relations with extensive defence co-operation. Both countries are members of ASEAN and Commonwealth of Nations.
Brunei and Thailand have bilateral foreign relations. Brunei has an embassy in Bangkok, and Thailand has an embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan. The relations have always been close and cordial.
Brunei and France have had diplomatic relations since 1984. Brunei has an embassy in Paris, and France has an embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Both countries are members of the Commonwealth and share history and have a friendly and strong relationship, dating back to the 19th century - which includes very strong friendships between both countries' monarchs and royal families.
