Buckholts Independent School District is a public school district based in Buckholts, Texas, United States. The district has one school that serves students in prekindergarten through grade 12.
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). [1] Buckholts ISD's TEA accreditation was revoked in 2018. [2]

La Marque is a city in Galveston County, Texas, south of Houston. The city population in 2010 was 14,509. It is a part of the Houston- The Woodlands- Sugar Land metropolitan area.
