Bud W. Brutsman (born May 6, 1970) is a television show creator, executive producer, and the President of Brentwood Communications International. [1] His best known productions include Overhaulin' and Rides for the Learning Channel (TLC), [2] and Living with Ed for Planet Green. Brutsman was also one of the creators of King of the Cage , garnering attention on Pay-Per-View and worldwide video sales. [3] As of 2011 [update] , Brutsman is involved in the mixed martial arts organization, Shark Fights . [4]
Brutsman's first project was producing a country line dancing video in conjunction with Denim and Diamonds, a country dance club in Los Angeles and Dallas. He successfully sold the distribution rights of the video to a company in California and began creating television shows. [5] In 1997, Brutsman established an independent television production company, which he named Brentwood Communications International, Inc. (BCII). [6]
Brutsman has produced several shows focusing on the U.S. military. Some of these shows include the History of Navy SEALs, Special Operations, U.S. Customs ; The Complete History of Green Berets ; and Inside the Britannic. He was additionally approached by a group of Navy SEALs with a consultant company outside of the military, which resulted in producing several military training videos.[ citation needed ] His documentaries have been shown on The History Channel and Discovery Channel, and sold worldwide. In 2006, Brutsman and BCII created a U.S. Military corporate sponsorship program for a Marine platoon stationed in Iraq and their families back home.[ citation needed ] He oversaw efforts to collect exercise equipment, DVDs, magazines, and other supplies to be sent to the troops overseas, as well as organizing events and functions for the troops' families.[ citation needed ]

Pimp My Ride is an American television series produced by MTV and hosted by rapper Xzibit, which ran for six seasons on MTV from 2004 to 2007. In each episode, a car in poor condition is both restored and customized. The work on the show was done by West Coast Customs until season 5 and was done by Galpin Auto Sports thereafter.
American Hot Rod is a reality television series that originally aired between 2004 and 2007 on TLC and Discovery Channel. The series followed car designer Boyd Coddington and his crew as they built hot rods and custom vehicles at his wheel and car shop in La Habra, California. The show was known for its frequent rows and bust-ups, and a high staff turnover rate. Some crew members went to work for Overhaulin's Chip Foose, a former partner of Coddington's, for a more relaxed environment; even Coddington's own son could not work there for long.
Overhaulin' is an American automotive reality television series. The show originally ran for five seasons between 2004 and 2008 on TLC. After a four-year hiatus, sixth season premiered on October 2, 2012 on Velocity and Discovery (Cablevision). In June 2019, it was announced that the show would be returning for a new season on November 16, 2019 on Motor Trend.
