On August 4, 2024, Reed signed with the Gastonia Baseball Club of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. [18] In 2 games for the team, he allowed 6 runs on 5 hits with 2 strikeouts over 2 innings pitched. Reed was released by Gastonia on August 16. [19]
