Budury Lagoon (Ukrainian : Будури, Romanian : Buduri) is a small salty lagoon in the Tuzly Lagoons group in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Raion of Odesa Oblast, Ukraine. It is located north from the Shahany Lagoon. It is separated from the Shahany Lagoon by the sandbar.

Named after the old name of the village of Kochkuvate (old name - Budury).

The water body is included to the Tuzly Lagoons National Nature Park.

Tatarbunary Raion was a raion (district) in Odesa Oblast of Ukraine. The raion was located in the south-west part of the oblast, along the Black Sea coast, and it was part of the historical region of Bessarabia. Its administrative center was the city of Tatarbunary. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Odesa Oblast to seven. The area of Tatarbunary Raion was merged into Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Raion. The last estimate of the raion population was 38,065. According to the 2001 census, the majority of Tatarbunary raion's population spoke Ukrainian (72.4%), with a minority of Bulgarian (10.7%), Romanian (8.49%) and Russian (7.68%) speakers. Tatarbunary raion, within its boundaries at that time, had in 2001 41,710 inhabitants, of which 71.27% were ethnic Ukrainians, 6.42% ethnic Russians, 9.39% Moldovans, 11.48% ethnic Bulgarians, 0.24% ethnic Gagauz and 0.03% Romanians.

Tuzly Lagoons are a group of marine lagoons (limans) in southern Bessarabia (Budjak), Ukraine. The lagoons are part of the Tuzly Lagoons National Nature Park, proclaimed on January 1, 2010. The name of the lagoons originates from the Turkish: Tuzlu, which means salty.

Alibey Lagoon is a salty lagoon (liman) on the Black Sea coast of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Raion of Odesa Oblast, Ukraine. The lagoon is originated from the old mouth of the Khadzhyder River. The length of the lagoon is 15 km, width 11 km, area 72 km2. The depth is 2.5 m.

Burnas Lagoon is a marine lagoon, located in southern Ukraine in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Raion of Odesa Oblast. The salinity of the lagoon is two times higher than in the Black Sea. The lagoon is connected to the sea via a system of canals. The lagoon is about 7 km long and 1–3 km wide. In the northern part the lagoon is connected to the lagoon Solone Ozero, in the north west to the Kurudiol Lagoon. The source of the lagoon water is the Black Sea and the river Alkaliya, which inflows to the lagoon Solone Ozero.

Budaki, or Budaksky Lagoon is a Black Sea lagoon (liman) in Bessarabia, southern Ukraine. Located in 18 km from the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. The lagoon is separated from the Black Sea by the 80–200 m wide sandbar. The health spa urban-type settlement of Serhiivka is located on the coasts of the Budaki Lagoon.

Khadzhyder Lagoon is a salty lagoon in the Tuzly Lagoons group in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Raion of Odesa Oblast, Ukraine. It is separated from the Alibey by a sandbar. Two river, Khadzhyder River and Hlyboka River, inflow into the lagoon. The last one inflows west to the village Bezymyanka, it has a length 24 km, watershed area 80.3 km2. The lagoon has a 4 km length and 2.5 km width. Two villages, Lyman and Bezymyanka, are located on the coast of the lagoon.
