C.L.G. Malainn is a GAA club based in Malin in County Donegal, Ireland.
It is the northernmost GAA club in Ireland. [1] This tends to cause logistical struggles during the league as many of their rivals are a great distance away. [2] One example of the distance travelled would be the 320-kilometre round trip required to play an away fixture to Naomh Columba. [3]
The club participated in the Donegal Senior Football Championship from 2004 onwards. [4]
It was also club of the year in 2003.[ citation needed ]
Declan Walsh, a member of the 2012 All-Ireland winning county team, played for them. [5] [6]
The club is also home to 2012's "Number One Real Supporter", according to a national survey. [7] [8]
Liam Bradley, previously manager of the Antrim county football team, was an unexpected managerial appointment by the club in January 2015. [9] He left the same year. [10]
The 2019 Donegal Senior Football Championship resulted in the club's descent to the intermediate ranks.

Declan Walsh was the proudest man in Ireland tonight at the country's most northerly GAA club as he carried the Sam Maguire into Malin. A huge crowd of enthusiastic supporters turned out to see the cup arrive in the town.
Meanwhile, as visitors Malin prepare to make the long trek south, boss Robert Farren says that for once, that journey won't feel as arduous… And there is a renewed enthusiasm within all squads — even ones with a close to 320km round trip to make on Sunday.
Bradley takes over from Terence Colhoun, who had three years at the helm… Malin have been in the Donegal SFC since 2004. Their squad contains 2012 All-Ireland winner Declan Walsh and Stephen McLaughlin who was a member of the Donegal squad that reached last year’s All-Ireland final.
Shockwaves rippled through Donegal early this week when news emerged that the Glenullin, County Derry native had been selected as the new Malin boss… Bradley will be aided by John McLaughlin and Robert Farren.
There's no change at Malin, as Robert Farren remains in charge of the senior men's team. They had a fine run in the Intermediate Championship last year. They got as far as the semi-finals but lost out to Naomh Columba.
