In broadcast programming, dayparting is the practice of dividing the broadcast day into several parts, in which a different type of radio programming or television show appropriate for that time period is aired. Television programs are most often geared toward a particular demography, and what the target audience typically engages in at that time.
Stations in Canada's CBC Radio One network each produce some local programming in addition to the network schedule.
CITL-DT is a CTV-affiliated television station in Lloydminster, a city located on the border of the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. It is owned by Stingray Radio alongside Citytv affiliate CKSA-DT. Both stations share studios at 50 Street and 51 Avenue on the Alberta side of Lloydminster, while CITL-DT's transmitter is located near Highway 17 and Township Road 512, near the Saskatchewan provincial line.
Rogers TV is a group of English-language community channels owned by Rogers Communications. Many of these channels share common programs. Rogers TV broadcasts in the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Ontario. Rogers TV is available only in communities served by Rogers' cable and telecom division, and is not carried by other television service providers. Its French counterpart is TV Rogers.
CTV News is the news division of the CTV Television Network in Canada. The name CTV News is also applied as the title of local and regional newscasts on the network's owned-and-operated stations (O&Os), which are closely tied to the national news division. Local newscasts on CTV 2 are also branded as CTV News, although in most cases they are managed separately from the newscasts on the main CTV network.
Talentvision is a Canadian Mandarin Chinese specialty channel. It is owned by the Vancouver-based Fairchild Media Group and TVB. Talentvision's studios are located inside Aberdeen Centre in the Golden Village district along with Fairchild TV and Fairchild Radio, in Richmond, British Columbia.

Its studios are located on West Main Street in Hamilton. The station airs a news/talk format branded as Global News Radio 900 CHML. CHML is owned by Corus Entertainment.
WJOX is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Birmingham, Alabama. It is owned by Cumulus Media and broadcasts a sports radio format. WJOX is the Birmingham affiliate of the UAB Blazers Radio Network, the Tennessee Titans Radio Network and the Atlanta Braves Radio Network. It used to be the broadcast home of the Birmingham Barons. The station has studios and offices in Homewood.
Shaw Spotlight is the name of locally based community channel services operated by cable TV provider Shaw Communications. The channels are available only to Shaw Cable subscribers and are produced in communities throughout western Canada.

New Greek TV (NGTV) is an American Greek language television channel broadcasting from studios in Astoria, New York. It launched in December 1987 as 'National Greek Television' on Time Warner Cable by its founder Demetris Kastanas. NGTV was the first-ever television channel catering to Greek-Americans, airing a mix of original programming produced specifically for the local Greek-American community in New York and area as well as foreign content sourced directly from Greece.
